Cyber Monday fell on December 1, 2025. The offers reported around that date were not the same: Xbox advertised 14 days of Game Pass for $1 to eligible new subscribers, while a December 2 report said Amazon had a one-month Game Pass Ultimate code for $18.99 in the United States. Both are historical offers; neither is confirmed as available now.
What were the Xbox Game Pass offers?
| Offer | Plan and duration | Price and terms | Availability context |
|---|---|---|---|
| Xbox promotion | Game Pass; 14 days | $1 for 14 days, then $14.99 per month unless cancelled. Eligibility varied. | Advertised in Xbox’s official Black Friday announcement on November 20, 2025; the announcement did not describe it as a Cyber Monday-specific offer. Xbox Wire |
| Amazon code offer | One-month Game Pass Ultimate digital code | $18.99 for one month, as reported; renewal terms for the code were not stated in the report. | Windows Central reported the U.S. Amazon offer on December 2, 2025, describing a promotion around Cyber Monday. This is secondary reporting, not a current price check. Windows Central |
How did the two offers differ?
The $1 offer was a short introductory promotion from Xbox for eligible new subscribers, with a stated monthly renewal price after the trial period. The $18.99 offer was reported as a one-month Ultimate code sold through Amazon. They are different offer structures, not equivalent prices for the same subscription period: the Xbox announcement specified eligibility and renewal terms, while the Amazon report described a fixed-duration code.
Can you still get either deal?
There is no basis to treat either 2025 promotion as currently available. Xbox’s December 2, 2025 service update discusses Game Pass activity but does not say the Amazon discount continued. Xbox’s service update does not verify current retailer inventory or pricing. Xbox also says deals and availability can vary by time, region, plan, and platform; check its deals page for offers relevant to your location.

What to check before buying a future code or promotion
- Region: Confirm the code can be redeemed in your account’s country. The reported $18.99 price applied to the U.S. offer described by Windows Central.
- Plan and duration: Check that the product is for Game Pass Ultimate and that the code covers the duration you want.
- Eligibility: Read the terms for introductory offers; Xbox said eligibility for its 14-day promotion varied.
- Renewal: For a subscription trial, note the recurring price and cancellation deadline. The Xbox promotion stated a $14.99 monthly renewal unless cancelled.
- Seller and listing: Verify the retailer, redemption restrictions, and current price before paying. A historical report is not proof that a listing remains active.
