The announcement was published November 20, 2025, and the game offers ended December 3, 2025. They are historical offers, not deals currently available.
What Xbox announced for Black Friday 2025
Xbox described a US-focused sale with more than 2,000 games. Its advertised discounts were maximums for selected titles, not discounts that applied to every game. Xbox Director Rocio Chavez summarized the promotion as: “Our Black Friday deals are here to help you play the way you want: save up to 75% on select Xbox games, up to 85% on select PC games and save on select Xbox wireless accessories.” Xbox Wire’s November 20 announcement did not provide a market-wide average discount.
Games and platforms
Examples named by Xbox included Fallout 76, Madden NFL 26, NBA 2K26 Standard Edition, Hogwarts Legacy, Forza Horizon 5, Ninja Gaiden 4, The Outer Worlds 2, Ready or Not, Borderlands 4 and Battlefield 6. Xbox also listed several Game Awards nominees. The announcement did not assign one discount to all these titles or establish that every title stayed on sale for the entire promotion.
To assess a specific historical offer, the useful comparison was the exact game and edition, platform (Xbox or PC), listed price and discount, retailer, region and end date. The headline “up to” figures alone do not show how much a particular buyer would have saved.

Dates, geography and availability
Xbox said its game offers began November 20 and ran through December 3, 2025. Separately, the Microsoft Store FAQ gives November 20–29, 2025, as the Microsoft Black Friday sale period. These are different windows: the Store dates should not be substituted for Xbox’s stated game-promotion dates. See the Microsoft Store Black Friday page.
Xbox labeled the announced discounts US-only and cautioned that offers varied by market and retailer. Its announcement does not establish that the same titles, prices or terms applied worldwide. All dates above have passed, and any later offer would need to be checked against the relevant local Xbox.com or Microsoft Store listing.
