Nomad Building Solutions named Peter Hogan as its new managing director, PerthNow reported on 16 July 2012. The report said he was due to start in August 2012, but it does not confirm that he took up the role.

Who was Nomad Building Solutions’ new boss?

The appointee named in PerthNow’s 16 July 2012 report was Peter Hogan. The report described Nomad as an ASX-listed transportable-property developer that manufactured modular buildings. PerthNow’s report said Hogan would begin the following month, in August 2012; it does not confirm whether that planned start occurred.

What experience did Peter Hogan bring?

Before the appointment announcement, Hogan was managing director of Valmont Industries’ Australian industrial coatings division. PerthNow also cited management roles at Perth shipbuilder Austal and building-materials group Boral. The report identified experience across industrial coatings, shipbuilding and building materials, without giving further details about his responsibilities in those earlier roles.

What did the report say about his remuneration?

Nomad had not disclosed Hogan’s remuneration package when the appointment was announced. PerthNow reported that the package would be submitted to shareholders at the company’s November annual general meeting. The report does not state the outcome of that vote or the package’s terms.

What did Nomad shares trade at?

PerthNow reported that Nomad shares were untraded at 8.5 cents at 08:21 AWST on 16 July 2012. That is a dated market snapshot, not a current share price or evidence of a transaction at that price. The contemporaneous report does not establish the company’s later history or present status.
