To buy the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game (FFTCG), start with the official FFTCG store locator, then check the Square Enix online store for your region. Contact a shop before visiting or ordering: the locator may not return results, and neither it nor a product listing confirms a particular seller’s current stock. Check the product’s format, language, seller, shipping and total cost before paying.
Where to look for Final Fantasy TCG
Official store locator
Search the FFTCG store locator for local stores and regional distributor or contact information. Square Enix describes it as a way to find stores, but the locator page’s results widget may not load or return a listing for every location. If you do not see results, contact nearby game shops directly. A store’s presence in a locator is not proof that it has a specific product in stock.
Square Enix online stores
Check the Square Enix shop serving your region. The North American Square Enix store has a trading-card-game category that includes FFTCG products. For Japanese-language products, Square Enix’s Japanese product pages and e-STORE are additional official routes. Listings and shipping are market-specific; a Japanese listing does not establish that the product ships to your country.
Local game and hobby shops
Ask local game stores about sealed products and organized play. Availability varies by shop, so confirm the exact item and language before making a trip. The official locator invites retailers to register and asks about tournament hosting, making it useful for finding potential community stores; it does not certify a particular store’s inventory.

Marketplaces
You can search a marketplace for a specific format, such as “Final Fantasy Trading Card Game starter set” or “Final Fantasy TCG booster box.” Current marketplace listings and sellers have not been verified here, so treat each offer individually rather than assuming it is official. Before buying, verify that the item is the core FFTCG—not another Final Fantasy-branded card product—and check language, edition, seller identity, condition, shipping and return terms.
Which FFTCG product should you buy?
If you want to start playing, a starter set is the most direct choice: Square Enix describes these as prebuilt, ready-to-play decks. Booster packs are expansion products for adding cards. The official introduction describes Opus boosters as containing 12 cards, including one premium foil card, but that description should not be taken as a guarantee for every product or release. Check the listing for the specific set you plan to buy.

- As the display box bonus, which packs in 1 card per box, we’ve included Vincent [PR-188/26-066L], which utilizes the same illustration shown on the packaging. Furthermore, the well-received Legacy Cards—full art cards from previous Legend Cards—continue to be featured. In this set, three types of cards are included: The Demon [20-007L], The Goddess [20-057L] and The Fiend [20-114L]. Special Cards and Legacy Cards can not only be added to your collection but can also be used as normal cards in tournaments.
Japanese official listings also use categories such as booster packs, starter sets and special collections. These are examples of product formats to search for, not interchangeable products: compare offers for the same item and edition, and make sure the language suits your needs.
What to check before paying
- Product identity and format: Confirm that the listing is for FFTCG and whether it is a starter set, booster product or special collection.
- Language and region: Read the listing carefully; Japanese-language products may not suit a player seeking another language, and regional availability differs.
- Seller and condition: Verify who is selling the item and whether it is sealed, used or otherwise described accurately.
- Stock and release status: Ask the retailer whether the product is available now or only scheduled for a future release.
- Total delivered cost: Include shipping and any other charges shown at checkout, and review the return policy before ordering.

- Square Enix’s Japanese starter-set page listed a Japanese-language, FFXIV: Heavensward-themed starter set with a release date of October 9, 2026. A listed release date does not establish whether a copy is currently available to buy.
