The “brand-new meal” in the headline was McDonald’s Crocs Happy Meal promotion, not a new entrée. The U.S. offer was reported to begin September 17, 2024, with miniature Crocs-themed shoe clips and customization stickers in participating restaurants while supplies lasted. The reporting does not establish that the promotion is still available.
What came with the Crocs Happy Meal?
Each Happy Meal included one of eight exclusive miniature Crocs clips, packaged in a tiny Happy Meal shoe box, along with a sticker sheet inspired by Crocs Jibbitz charms. The stickers let buyers customize the miniature shoes. The September 2024 report described the toy offer; it did not list the individual clip designs.
When and where was it available?
The U.S. promotion was scheduled to begin September 17, 2024, at participating McDonald’s locations, with availability only while supplies lasted. “Nationwide” did not mean every restaurant was guaranteed to have the toys. McDonald’s official menu listings describe promotions as limited-time offers at participating restaurants, so a dated promotion should not be treated as a current menu item.
Was this a new menu item?
No. The news hook was the Crocs-themed Happy Meal toy collaboration, rather than a newly introduced entrée. McDonald’s and Crocs had collaborated previously: the 2024 report also noted Crocs footwear decorated with McDonald’s-themed Jibbitz designs. It said similar clips had appeared in international McDonald’s restaurants before the U.S. release, describing ten designs in those earlier releases and eight in the U.S. offer. Those counts refer to the report’s account of the 2024 promotion, not verified current inventory.

- All Day Comfort At Work: Designed with Iconic Crocs Comfort, a lightweight and flexible cushioning system that wraps the foot in 360‑degree support. The soft, responsive feel helps maintain comfort through extended wear, making it ideal for long shifts and active environments.
- Workplace-Certified Performance: Tested and certified to meet demanding industry standards (ASTM F2913-24, ASTM F3445-24, CE, EN ISO 20347:2012 OB, SRC) so you can focus on the job, not your footwear
Does “fans running to the drive-thru” reflect measured demand?
That phrase is headline framing, not a reported statistic. The article supplied no sales figures, sell-through data, or study measuring fan demand. Eight designs indicate the reported variety of the toy set, not how popular it was.
Can you still get the Crocs Happy Meal toy?
Current availability is unconfirmed. The 2024 offer was limited to participating restaurants and supplies on hand; neither that reporting nor the dated nature of McDonald’s promotions establishes that a restaurant can provide the clips in 2026. Check a local restaurant or current McDonald’s listing before making a trip. Crocs Jibbitz charms and other Crocs accessories are separate products, not the Happy Meal toy.
