First, check the account and the content you bought
Sign in to the EA Account you expected to use and check its library. EA says a successfully redeemed game appears on the account. If you have more than one EA Account, consider which one was signed in when you entered the code.
Also confirm what the code was for. A code for downloadable content (DLC) or a subscription may not add a new full-game entry to your library; the content may only be available after you start the relevant game. Follow any access instructions that came with the code.
Choose the next step based on how you got the code

Check the code’s instructions before trying again
Not every EA code is redeemed the same way. Some must be entered at a specified website or platform, and some older games cannot be redeemed in the EA app. Use the instructions provided with the code rather than assuming it is a standard PC product code. If the code is expired, treat that separately
An expired code is different from one that has already been used. EA says it cannot help with expired codes. Check the expiration date and any restrictions, and contact the retailer if the code was already expired when sold.
What to prepare when you contact support
- The receipt, order confirmation, or other proof of purchase.
- The code and the instructions or product listing that came with it.
- The EA Account you expected to use, and any other account you may have been signed into.
- A clear description of whether the code came from a retailer or a secondhand seller, and the exact error message.
EA’s guidance does not establish a universal right to a replacement, reset, transfer, or restored entitlement. Your available remedy can depend on the seller, the code type, the account, and the platform.
