Fixed, an app designed to help people contest parking and traffic tickets, is no longer operating as a consumer-facing service. Mark Cuban made an investment offer when the company appeared on Shark Tank, but reporting says the deal never closed. A company tracker says Fixed’s assets were sold to Lawgix in 2016; that transaction is reported by secondary sources, not confirmed by an official company account.
What was the Fixed app?
Fixed was a mobile app and service founded by David Hegarty. Secondary descriptions say it helped users challenge parking and traffic tickets. The available accounts do not document the app’s precise workflow, so claims about how it handled a particular ticket or jurisdiction are not established here.
When was Fixed on Shark Tank?
An episode guide lists Fixed in Season 7, Episode 14, which it dates to January 15, 2016. The episode listing identifies the companies featured in that installment.
Did Mark Cuban’s investment deal close?
No completed investment is established by the available reporting. David Bixenspan’s October 2024 SlashGear account says Cuban offered $700,000 for 7% equity plus 2% advisory shares, but the deal did not close. Other company-status trackers report different terms, so those figures should be understood as the proposal reported by Bixenspan—not a finalized deal or evidence that Cuban invested.

Why did Fixed stop operating?
Fixed is reported to have ceased operating as a consumer-facing app. The available secondary accounts point to operational and municipal-system obstacles, but they do not provide a definitive company post-mortem explaining the shutdown. A company tracker says Fixed’s assets were sold to Lawgix in 2016; another status account also describes a sale that year, but the transaction details are not fully resolved in the available reporting.
Is the Fixed app still available?
Fixed is listed as out of business, and a status tracker lists no website or Amazon presence. No official source confirming a relaunch is established by the available accounts. A currently available app using the name “Fixed” should not automatically be assumed to be the same ticket-contesting service.
