Gino Pozzo’s current personal net worth cannot be verified from reliable public disclosures. One secondary source estimates it at about $93 million, but does not provide a transparent method or primary financial evidence. For scale, Forbes estimated Arsenal owner Stanley Kroenke’s personal fortune at $27.6 billion and Manchester United investor James Ratcliffe’s at $17.6 billion on October 8, 2026. Those are dated estimates for two individuals—not a complete ranking of Premier League owners.
What is Gino Pozzo’s net worth?
There is no reliable, current public figure that establishes Pozzo’s personal net worth. Interesting Football gives an estimate of about $93 million in a 2025 article, but does not identify a primary wealth disclosure or explain a transparent calculation. Treat it as an attributed estimate, not a confirmed valuation.
A 2023 Oxford Brookes University doctoral thesis repeats a figure of £93 million. That is a historical figure in a different currency, not an independent confirmation of the $93 million estimate or a current valuation. The two figures should not be merged or presented as if they were measured at the same time.
How that compares with prominent Premier League owners
Forbes’ real-time profiles put the personal fortunes of two prominent Premier League owners in the tens of billions of US dollars. The estimates below are dated October 8, 2026; they are not club valuations.

| Person | Premier League connection | Personal net-worth estimate | Source and date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stanley Kroenke | Arsenal owner | $27.6 billion | Forbes real-time profile, October 8, 2026 |
| James Ratcliffe | Manchester United investor | $17.6 billion | Forbes real-time profile, October 8, 2026 |
| Gino Pozzo | Watford majority owner | About $93 million, unverified | Interesting Football, 2025; method and primary source not established |
The contrast is substantial even using the circulated $93 million estimate: it is far below the Forbes figures for Kroenke and Ratcliffe. But the comparison is not like-for-like in evidential strength. Forbes publishes dated real-time profiles for the two billionaires, while the Pozzo figure is a secondary estimate with no transparent methodology. It does not support a precise ranking of Pozzo against every Premier League owner.
What Pozzo’s Watford ownership tells us—and what it does not
A 2021 ownership report by Norton Rose Fulbright identified Gino Pozzo as holding approximately 99.7% of Watford. The report also said the precise level in the corporate structure at which he held that interest was not publicly available in the UK. The percentage is therefore a dated ownership-report figure, not a guarantee of his exact current shareholding.

Watford’s sporting record helps explain the interest in Pozzo’s wealth. The BBC reported that the club was promoted to the Premier League three years into his tenure, spent four seasons in the top flight during that early period, and reached the 2019 FA Cup final. Those achievements describe the club’s performance; they do not establish the value of Pozzo’s personal assets or liabilities.
Why owner wealth, club value and fund assets are different
A net-worth estimate concerns a person’s assets minus liabilities. A football club’s enterprise value is a different measure: Forbes describes it as equity value plus net debt. It should not be substituted for the owner’s personal fortune or added to it as though the owner personally holds the entire club value.

Ownership can also sit through companies or involve multiple people. Family wealth is not automatically an individual’s wealth, and assets managed by a sovereign wealth fund belong to an institution, not personally to a club owner. A 2026 secondary ranking explicitly separates such categories, but it is not a substitute for primary, person-specific wealth estimates.

The available evidence does not establish his current personal net worth well enough to place him reliably in a league-wide ranking. The often-circulated $93 million estimate is much smaller than Forbes’ October 8, 2026 estimates for Kroenke and Ratcliffe, but it has weaker sourcing and should be labeled accordingly. The most defensible answer is that Pozzo is a wealthy majority club owner whose exact personal fortune is not publicly verified.
