The visible price on Verizon’s current plan page is $65 per line per month with Auto Pay and paper-free billing, or $70 without that discount, before taxes, fees, the Economic Adjustment Charge, equipment, and add-ons.
Its strongest feature is genuine line-by-line customization: a field employee can receive extra hotspot data, a traveler can receive international service, and an office employee can remain on the base plan. But the plan’s three-year “price guarantee” covers qualifying base-plan rates—not the entire bill. Add-on prices, device payments, taxes, fees, surcharges, and promotional conditions can still change.

What is Verizon My Biz Plan?
Launched in April 2025, My Biz is Verizon Business’s customizable smartphone plan for small businesses. Instead of placing every employee on the same fixed feature tier, the business starts with a common base plan and selects optional services for individual lines.

Current price and base-plan features
On the Verizon page reviewed, the visible base price is:
- $65 per line per month with Auto Pay and paper-free billing.
- $70 per line per month without the $5 discount.
Verizon says accounts with five or more lines receive the lowest base-plan price, but the exact current five-line rate is not displayed in the visible pricing section reviewed. Confirm the live rate in Verizon’s purchase flow or with a Verizon Business representative.

- Talk, text, and data in Canada and Mexico.

- Verizon Business Mobile Internet Security when the phone is connected to Verizon’s mobile network.
There are important limits behind the word “unlimited.” After the base hotspot allowance, hotspot speeds can be reduced to as much as 600 Kbps. In Canada and Mexico, the high-speed allowance is 2 GB per 24-hour period, followed by unlimited data at 3G speeds. Verizon also says service may slow during congestion.
Taxes, fees, the Economic Adjustment Charge, device payments, and add-ons are extra.

The following prices were listed by Verizon on the page reviewed and may change:

Verizon Business Mobile Internet Security is included with the base plan. It should not be treated as a complete replacement for endpoint protection, device management, backups, identity controls, or employee security training.

Can every employee have different features?
Yes. Verizon says add-ons can be selected per line, so every employee does not have to receive the same configuration.
A practical setup might look like this:
- Office employee: base plan only.
- Field worker: base plan plus 50 GB Mobile Hotspot.
- Sales traveler: base plan plus International Connectivity.
- Video-heavy employee: Premium Network Experience, with Enhanced Video Calling only if the line meets its compatibility requirements.
- Productivity-focused employee: Google Workspace Business Standard.
These are configuration examples, not final quotes. The total depends on the current base rate, add-ons, devices, discounts, taxes, and fees.
What Verizon’s three-year price guarantee really covers
Verizon’s current terms describe a three-year guarantee for qualifying base-plan rates. It is not a guarantee that the total monthly bill will remain unchanged.

For eligible customers, the guarantee can apply to a new My Biz line, an added line, a phone upgrade, or a switch from an existing smartphone plan to My Biz. The terms require either a device-payment agreement or a month-to-month agreement and enrollment in the Auto Pay and paper-free billing discount within the first billing month.
The guarantee generally applies per qualifying line to the then-current base monthly rate, including specified base-rate discounts. It excludes:
- Taxes and fees.
- The Economic Adjustment Charge.
- Device and equipment charges.
- Add-on prices.
- Other discounts and promotions.
Changes to qualifying service or other required elements can end the guarantee. The safest interpretation is: Verizon offers a three-year guarantee on qualifying base-plan rates, not a three-year freeze on the complete bill.
How add-ons can affect device promotions
Verizon says monthly add-on spending of $5, $15, or $20 can unlock special device discounts and promotions. The exact device savings depend on the applicable promotion, device, line, agreement, and eligibility.
The page also describes a limited-time 50 GB hotspot promotion. Spending $15 per month on qualifying add-ons may make the hotspot add-on free for six months, while spending $20 may make it free for 12 months. The promotion requires qualifying new-line activation and add-on purchases in one transaction, as well as a 36-month device-payment purchase agreement. After the promotional period, the then-current $5 hotspot price applies.

Changing or canceling the required plan or add-on spending ends the discount, and Verizon says it cannot be reinstated. Because this is a limited-time offer, check availability and terms at checkout.
A device discount can reduce the effective cost of an add-on, but it can also tie the business to a long financing period. That matters if the company replaces phones frequently, reassigns lines, or wants to leave before 36 months.
International service: four benefits that should not be confused
My Biz separates several types of international use:
- Domestic U.S. service: the normal base-plan allowance.
- Canada and Mexico: included in the base plan, with 2 GB of high-speed data per 24-hour period before reduced-speed data.
- International Connectivity: service in 210-plus countries and destinations, with 5 GB of high-speed data per line per month before unlimited 3G-speed data.
- International Long Distance Calling: 120 minutes per month from the U.S. to one selected region, purchased separately.
The International Connectivity high-speed allowance does not carry over. Verizon also places restrictions on permanent use outside the 50 states and District of Columbia, including a usage-based permanent-location rule. International coverage and performance can vary by destination.
Enhanced Video Calling has significant restrictions
The $5 Enhanced Video Calling add-on is not a general-purpose upgrade that works on every line. It requires Premium Network Experience and is available only in select 5G Ultra Wideband areas with compatible devices, operating systems, and participating applications.

Verizon lists compatibility requirements involving newer iPhones, Samsung Galaxy models, and Pixel 9 or newer for specified applications. The feature is also incompatible with Verizon Business Mobile Internet Security unless that feature is untoggled, and it is unavailable for lines using certain services, including One Talk, Microsoft Teams, Wireless Priority Services, Public Static IP, and Mobile Private Network.
This is an important qualification to the plan’s flexibility: add-ons can be assigned per line, but they are not universally interchangeable.
How to calculate the real cost
For each line, use this formula:
Base line rate + line-specific add-ons + device payment + taxes, fees, and surcharges − qualifying discounts = estimated monthly cost

Then compare the result with:
- Verizon’s fixed Business Unlimited tiers.
- A BYOD configuration using compatible, unlocked phones.
- A competing business-carrier plan.
- Keeping software, storage, and security with existing vendors instead of bundling them into wireless service.
Do not compare My Biz’s headline base price with another provider’s all-in price. Also do not assume that an add-on is a good value merely because it unlocks a device promotion. Compare the recurring add-on cost, the value of the service itself, and the obligations created by device financing.
Who should consider My Biz?
My Biz is a strong candidate for a small business when:
- Employees have substantially different wireless needs.
- Only certain lines need international service.
- Only a few workers need large hotspot allowances.
- The business wants selected users to receive productivity or security tools.
- Base-rate predictability matters more than a fully fixed bill.
- The business can accept the terms of a device-promotion agreement when the savings are worthwhile.
It may be a poor fit when:
- A one-person business does not need business-specific features.
- Nearly every employee needs premium network access, international service, or multiple add-ons.
- The primary goal is the lowest possible wireless price.
- The business dislikes long device-payment agreements.
- Employees need enterprise mobility management, private networking, priority connectivity, or formal IT administration.
- The company already has Microsoft 365 or another software suite that makes Google Workspace redundant.
Important catches before switching
- Do not use the old $29 figure as current pricing. Launch-era coverage reported pricing as low as $29 per line for five or more lines and a 15% new-line promotion running from April 10 through June 10, 2025. That promotion is historical, not a current offer.
- Auto Pay matters. Losing eligible Auto Pay or paper-free billing status can affect the advertised $5 discount.
- Add-on prices are not covered by the base-rate guarantee. Your total recurring bill can rise even when the qualifying base rate does not.
- Promotional credits may be delayed. Verizon says credits can take one or two bills to appear.
- Unlimited data is not unlimited high-speed hotspot data. Congestion, video resolution, and international high-speed allowances still apply.
- Coverage determines value. Premium network and video-calling benefits depend on supported 5G Ultra Wideband locations, devices, and applications.
- Confirm business eligibility. Account requirements, credit checks, device agreements, and availability should be verified before assuming every freelancer or sole proprietor qualifies.
Verdict
Verizon My Biz Plan is genuinely flexible where it matters most: businesses can tailor add-ons to individual lines instead of paying for the same bundle for everyone. That makes it particularly appealing for mixed teams with different travel, hotspot, productivity, or security needs.
It is less compelling when most lines require several paid add-ons, when the business wants the lowest possible base price, or when employees need enterprise-grade mobility controls. Before switching, price every line separately and include devices, add-ons, taxes, fees, surcharges, and promotion conditions. The three-year guarantee can make the qualifying base rate more predictable, but it is not a guarantee of an unchanged total bill.
