Bottom line: Ulefone’s AliExpress Anniversary Sale was a historical promotion that ran from March 17 through March 27, 2024. It is expired as of 2026. A sponsored GizChina article advertised discounts of up to 65% on seven Ulefone models, but the stated percentage labels do not consistently match the listed original and sale prices. Treat the figures below as archived promotional prices, not current offers or independently tested bargains.
The promotion was covered on March 25, 2024, and marked “Sponsored” by GizChina. Read the original sponsored announcement. Android Headlines separately reported Ulefone’s participation and the March 27 end date in its coverage.
Archived deal summary
“Up to 65% off” described the maximum advertised reduction, not a discount applied uniformly to every phone. The promotional article supplied reference and sale prices for each model. The arithmetic column below compares those two stated prices; it is not an independent verification of AliExpress pricing.
| Model and configuration | Advertised original price | Advertised sale price | Reduction implied by those prices | Main feature promoted |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Power Armor 16S | $249.98 | $129.99 | About 48% | 9,600mAh battery and very loud speaker |
| Note 17 Pro | $499.98 | $239.99 | About 52% | 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED display |
| Armor 23 Ultra | $999.98 | $369.99 | About 63% | Two-way satellite messaging claim |
| Armor 24 | $399.98 | $239.99 | About 40% | Camping light and night-vision camera |
| Power Armor 18T Ultra | $999.98 | $429.99 | About 57% | FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal-imaging component |
| Armor 22, 8GB/128GB | $299.98 | $158.99 | About 47% | NightElf ultra 2.0 camera system |
| Armor 22, 8GB/256GB | $319.98 | $169.59 | About 47% | More internal storage than the 128GB version |
| Armor 21 | $399.98 | $195.99 | About 51% | Large speaker and RGB light halos |
GizChina’s copy described some rows as 60%, 50% or 57% off even where the displayed prices produce different results. Differences can arise from coupons, alternate reference prices, rounding or an error. A marketplace’s “original price” also may not represent its usual selling price.

What each highlighted phone was intended to do
Power Armor 16S: battery and volume over portability
According to Ulefone’s specifications, the Power Armor 16S has a non-removable 9,600mAh battery, 18W wired charging and 10W dock charging. It uses a Unisoc T616, lists 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and accepts a microSD card up to 2TB. Other listed hardware includes a 5.93-inch 720×1440 display, a 50MP Samsung rear camera, Android 13 and a 406g body. Ulefone claims IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H protection, plus a 36mm speaker rated at up to 122dB and 3.5W peak output. These are manufacturer or laboratory claims, not independent measurements. See the official specifications.
Its strengths are endurance, loudness and expansion storage. The trade-off is a thick, heavy design; a large battery does not guarantee a fixed number of days because usage, signal, temperature and battery age matter.

Note 17 Pro: the conventional option
The Note 17 Pro was the least rugged-looking choice in the promotion. The sponsored listing described a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 5 and curved front and rear panels. It suits a buyer who wants a normal large-screen Android phone rather than a heavily armored chassis. The sale article listed $239.99, while Ulefone’s current phone collection shows a $229.99 listing; the configurations and terms may not be identical. Check the current collection before comparing.
Armor 23 Ultra: satellite messaging requires verification
The Armor 23 Ultra was promoted with two-way satellite messaging using Bullitt-related technology. Satellite messaging is not the same as universal cellular coverage or a guaranteed emergency service. Before buying, confirm current service availability in your country, activation or subscription requirements, app dependence, emergency-service support and whether the exact listing includes any service entitlement. The archived price was $369.99; Ulefone’s current armor collection lists $499.99. See the current Armor collection.
Armor 24: lighting and night vision
The Armor 24 promotion emphasized a high-powered camping light and a claimed 64MP night-vision lens. Those features may appeal to campers or workers who need illumination and low-light imaging in one device. They do not establish that the phone matches a dedicated night-vision camera or produces flagship-quality daytime photos. The archived promotional price was $239.99 against $399.98; the current collection lists $349.99.
Power Armor 18T Ultra: thermal imaging for specific tasks
The Power Armor 18T Ultra was marketed with a FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal sensor. A sensor’s presence does not prove professional inspection accuracy, thermal resolution, refresh rate, emissivity controls or certification. Confirm the exact “Ultra” configuration and software compatibility if thermal work is your reason for buying. Ulefone’s current page lists up to 66W wired and 15W wireless charging under stated conditions and warns that actual performance varies. The current listing is $719.99, compared with the archived $429.99 sale price. Product information is at Ulefone’s 18T Ultra page.
Armor 22: check the memory variant
Two separate prices were advertised: $158.99 for 8GB/128GB and $169.59 for 8GB/256GB. The phone was associated with Ulefone’s NightElf ultra 2.0 camera system. A marketplace listing can substitute a different storage version, seller bundle or regional model, so match the RAM, storage, model number and included accessories before checkout. Ulefone’s current collection lists Armor 22 at $239.99, without proving that it is the same configuration as either 2024 listing.

Current status and official-store reference prices
Status: The reported AliExpress sale ended March 27, 2024. Ulefone’s current global collection pages show some of the same models, but these are present-day direct-store listings, not continuation of the expired AliExpress promotion.

Confirm network compatibility
For United States buyers, verify LTE bands, VoLTE certification and compatibility with the intended carrier. Ulefone notes that VoLTE and dual-SIM operation depend on local carrier support. Do not assume an unlocked label means every carrier will activate the phone.

Match the exact hardware
- Record the model number, RAM and storage variant.
- Check whether the listing is the Ultra version where applicable.
- Confirm charger type, plug, cable and any seller-added accessories.
- Use Ulefone’s manual index and Armor-series manual index to identify the intended version.
Calculate the real delivered cost
Add sales tax, shipping, import charges, insurance and any payment-method restrictions. A headline price is not a delivered price unless those costs are confirmed for your location.
Check seller, returns and warranty
- Prefer a verifiable official Ulefone storefront where possible.
- Review seller feedback, dispatch country and estimated delivery date.
- Identify who provides the warranty and where returns must be sent.
- Read the marketplace return window and confirm whether duties are prepaid.
Understand conditional durability claims
IP ratings and military-standard statements describe controlled testing, not permanent immunity. Ulefone says water resistance can decline through wear or damage, accessories and chargers are not necessarily water-resistant, and liquid damage may not be covered. Never submerge a damaged phone because it carries an IP label.
Set realistic software expectations
The available promotion identifies hardware and prices but does not establish a long-term Android or security-update schedule. An older model may cost less while having a shorter remaining support life. Buyers who need guaranteed updates, domestic repair access or simple returns may be better served by an established mainstream brand.
Who could have benefited from the promotion?
- Outdoor workers and campers prioritizing battery capacity and rugged construction.
- Users who value an unusually loud speaker more than thinness or light weight.
- Buyers with a specific need for thermal or night-vision hardware at a lower entry price.
- People willing to trade bulk, older processors and uncertain support for specialized features.
It was a poor fit for anyone seeking a light phone, guaranteed US-carrier activation, flagship camera performance, long update commitments, straightforward domestic warranty service or universal satellite emergency coverage.
Feature-based verdict
As an archived deal, the Power Armor 16S and Armor 21 were the clearest battery-and-speaker propositions; the 18T Ultra was the most specialized for thermal imaging; the Armor 23 Ultra was the most unusual because of its satellite-messaging claim; and the Note 17 Pro was the most conventional. Those are specification-based conclusions, not hands-on reviews. The central buying risk is not merely whether a percentage was large, but whether an old marketplace listing has the right configuration, network support, service terms and warranty for your location.
