Which UIIC AO recruitment does this admit card cover?
The December 2024 admit card report concerned UIIC’s 2024 Administrative Officers (Scale I) recruitment for both Generalists and Specialists. The recruitment notice listed 200 vacancies, with the matching report describing 100 Generalist and 100 Specialist posts. It is distinct from UIIC’s separate January 2024 Generalist-only recruitment, which listed 250 posts. That figure does not describe the Generalists and Specialists cycle discussed here. UIIC’s January 2024 Generalist notice relates to the separate recruitment.
When was the 2024 AO exam?
UIIC’s November 8, 2024 date-change notice set the online examination for December 21, 2024. The earlier recruitment notice had described the schedule as tentative. The updated date is therefore the relevant date for this cycle. UIIC’s date-change notice contains the revised schedule.

UIIC’s Corporate HRM Department wrote: “All the candidates are requested to keep checking the Recruitment Page in the company’s website for any further updates including the provision for Call letter downloading which will available 10 days prior to the date of online examination (tentative).” The recruitment notice thus described call letters as available ten days before the online examination, while noting that the schedule was tentative. UIIC’s 2024 Generalists and Specialists recruitment notice gave the recruitment details.

Quick Recap
What to check before relying on a notice
- Confirm that the notice names the 2024 Generalists and Specialists recruitment, not the separate Generalist-only cycle.
- Check the notice date and any later schedule update; UIIC’s November 8, 2024 notice changed the online exam date to December 21, 2024.
- Do not treat the 2024 call-letter instructions as current availability. The cited material establishes the historical release report and process, not that the old link still works.
