What was the UKSSSC Group C 2025 recruitment?
Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) listed Advertisement No. 70/UKSSSC/2025 on April 9, 2025. It covered Assistant Review Officer, Patwari, Lekhpal, Gram Vikas Adhikari (also known as Village Development Officer or VDO) and other posts. UKSSSC’s recruitment listing uses the Hindi post names, including ग्राम विकास अधिकारी, पटवारी and लेखपाल.
The deadline-day report by Scroll.in described the recruitment as covering 416 vacancies. That is the figure reported at the time; some later registration coverage gave a different total, so 416 should be understood as the contemporaneous report’s framing rather than a confirmed post-by-post breakdown.

Applications closed on May 15, 2025, according to Scroll.in’s report published that day. This date has passed, so candidates cannot use the 2025 notice to submit a new application.

UKSSSC’s later notices show that the recruitment moved on to examination and, for Patwari/Lekhpal candidates, a subsequent physical-test stage:
