TONX announced a $4 million pre-seed and seed funding round in Taipei on August 7, 2024, at The Open Summit. The announcement named SNZ Ventures and Summer Ventures as co-leads and said the capital would accelerate TONX API’s technology stack. “Leading Asia-Pacific” is promotional wording in the original headline, not a ranking established by the available sources.
What TONX announced
A syndicated release published August 8, 2024, reported that TONX had announced a $4 million pre-seed and seed round the previous day at The Open Summit in Taipei. The release was supplied by an independent third-party provider; its publisher states that it does not warrant the content. The announcement should therefore be read as a company financing announcement, not as an independently verified filing.
The release attributed the planned use of proceeds to advancing TONX API’s technology stack. TONX co-founder Dr. Awesome Doge described the financing as a milestone that would help advance the product and strengthen the company’s position in the Web3 ecosystem. That is the company’s characterization of the round and its intended effect, not an outside assessment.
Who the announcement names as investors
The syndicated release names SNZ Ventures and Summer Ventures as co-leads. A recap on TONX’s official Telegram channel instead says “SNZ Holding and Summer Ventures.” The available sources do not explain whether SNZ Ventures and SNZ Holding refer to the same entity or why the naming differs, so the discrepancy should be preserved rather than resolved by assumption.

What TONX API does
TONX presents TONX API as developer infrastructure for building on the TON blockchain. In a company blog post dated November 20, 2024, TONX described tools including a JavaScript SDK, a BoC Parser, and an Estimate Fee API. The fundraising release also identified TONX Node and TONX Security as additional modular products, but said the round’s intended focus was accelerating TONX API’s technology stack.
What TONX reported after the round
In the November 2024 blog post, TONX said TONX API had partnerships with 20 organizations and named Blum, Catizen, CoinGecko, Google Cloud, AliCloud, and others. This was a later company-reported account of collaborations; it does not show that those organizations invested in the 2024 round or establish endorsement by the named cloud providers.

The same post reported 99.99% uptime and 362x usage growth for TONX API. Both are company claims, not independently audited performance measures in the available sources. TONX did not define the baseline or measurement period for the 362x figure in the passage reviewed, so it should not be treated as a standalone measure of growth. TONX’s fundraising release also framed the Telegram-linked ecosystem as having 950 million users; that was TONX’s claim, not an independently verified user count.

The reported $4 million amount and named co-leads provide a snapshot of TONX’s announced financing at that time. The available sources do not establish the round’s detailed terms, investor allocations, or an independent comparison with other Asia-Pacific venture rounds. Nor do they substantiate “leading” as a measured ranking. The later product and ecosystem figures add company-reported context, but do not independently verify the round or TONX API’s performance.
