The TNPSC Combined Technical Services Examination (CTS) application deadlines documented for 2025 have all passed. The dates differed by recruitment category: 11 June for Interview Posts, 25 June for Non-Interview Posts and 12 July for Diploma/ITI Level. TNPSC’s later update shows the Interview Posts recruitment had progressed to certificate verification and interviews by February 2026. A newer application window open on 8 October 2026 is not confirmed here, so check TNPSC’s official notifications before acting.
Which TNPSC CTS deadline applies?
There is no single CTS registration deadline that covers every post category. TNPSC issued separate 2025 notices, each with its own application closing date and eligibility requirements.

These are historical closing dates, not evidence of a current opening. The dates should not be carried forward to a new recruitment or used to imply that applications remain available.
What is the status of the 2025 recruitment?
For Interview Posts under Notification No. 08/2025, TNPSC’s 12 February 2026 press release says the examination was held from 20 to 22 July 2025. It reports that lists for certificate verification and interview were published on 12 February 2026. The release records 14,177 candidates admitted and 6,308 who appeared; it also says 788 candidates were provisionally admitted to physical certificate verification and interview, and 24 to onscreen certificate verification (Phase-II). These figures apply only to that 2025 Interview Posts recruitment, not to CTS generally or a newer cycle.

How to verify whether a new application window is open
The available official records establish past deadlines and later progress for one recruitment; they do not establish the live status of a newer CTS notice on 8 October 2026. Check TNPSC’s current official notifications and application portal for a new notice, amendments, extensions or a correction window. Do not rely on third-party deadline listings in place of the applicable official notice.
- Open TNPSC’s official notifications page and look for a current Combined Technical Services Examination notice.
- Confirm its post category and notification number. Interview Posts, Non-Interview Posts and Diploma/ITI Level have been handled through distinct notices.
- Read that notice for the closing date and time, eligibility, qualifications and application instructions. Do not assume an old deadline or eligibility rule applies to a new cycle.
- Before submitting, follow the notice’s instructions and verify that you meet its eligibility conditions.
TNPSC’s 2025 Interview Posts notice tells candidates to “carefully read the ‘Instructions to Applicants’ available in the Commission’s website www.tnpsc.gov.in and this Notification,” and to ensure they fulfil the eligibility conditions. It also says admission to stages is provisional, subject to those conditions.

The 2025 application periods ended more than a year before the research date. Although a later TNPSC update concerns the Interview Posts selection process, it does not prove that no newer CTS notice exists. Equally, it cannot be used to claim that a new application window is open. Until TNPSC publishes and confirms the relevant current notice, the accurate answer is that a live deadline remains unverified.
