TNPSC’s official answer-key register lists an answer-key entry dated 7 October 2025 for the Combined Civil Services Examination-II (Group II and IIA Services), held on 28 September 2025. The register entry confirms a posting, but the currently accessible information does not establish whether the objection window is open or whether a final key has since replaced it. Check TNPSC’s latest official notice before acting.

Which TNPSC exam does “Civil Services II” mean?

The relevant examination is the Combined Civil Services Examination-II (Group II and IIA Services), under Notification No. 11/2025—not the separate Group I examination. TNPSC issued Notification No. 11/2025 on 15 July 2025; it sets out the scheme for Group II and Group IIA services. See the official notification.

TNPSC Group 2 answer key 2025: dates and status

Milestone Date or status
Notification No. 11/2025 15 July 2025
Preliminary examination 28 September 2025
Answer-key register entry 7 October 2025
Objection deadline and final-key status Not established by the accessible official information

The dates for the examination and answer-key entry appear in TNPSC’s Answer Keys register. A dated entry does not, by itself, confirm that candidates can still submit representations or that no final key has been issued. The answer-key link could not be verified, so this article does not reproduce answers or identify paper sets.

How do I check the TNPSC Group II answer key?

  1. Open TNPSC’s official Answer Keys register.
  2. Look for the Combined Civil Services Examination-II (Group II and IIA Services) and confirm that the entry corresponds to the 28 September 2025 examination.
  3. Use the answer-key link provided by TNPSC for the relevant examination and paper. Check any accompanying notice for instructions, representation dates and whether the key is provisional or final.
  4. If the link is unavailable or the status is unclear, check TNPSC’s latest notices and return to the register rather than relying on an unofficial copy or an old deadline.

Has TNPSC published the main-exam admission list?

Yes. In Press Release No. 178/2025, dated 22 December 2025, TNPSC said the list of candidates provisionally admitted to the main examination was published that day. The release reported 5,53,634 candidates admitted and 4,20,217 appeared; those figures describe participation in the preliminary examination, not answer-key objections or their outcomes. See the official press release.

Choosing a Group II or IIA preparation guide

If you use a book or practice guide, check that its edition matches the applicable Notification No. 11/2025 scheme and syllabus. The exam name includes both Group II and Group IIA services; a resource for a different TNPSC examination, including Group I, may not match. No particular book or edition is identified here as officially endorsed.
