The evidence supports several striking luxury-cruise price examples, but not a reliable ranking of the ten most expensive cruises in the world. The clearest published figures range from Kiplinger-reported fares around $10,000 for a short Seabourn itinerary to a reported $1.7 million reservation for two guests in Regent Seven Seas’ Regent Suite. Those figures cover different voyage lengths and suite categories, so they are not like-for-like prices.
Why this is not a verified top-ten ranking
A meaningful ranking would need comparable, dated fares for ten voyages, with the same occupancy basis and clearly identified suite category. The available figures mix per-guest fares, a two-guest suite reservation, different sailing lengths and distinct inclusion packages. They show how expensive luxury cruising can get, but cannot establish the ten priciest cruises or their order.
Prices below are dated announcements or media-reported snapshots, not live booking quotes. Availability and fares can change. Where the source does not establish a detail such as the exact suite or occupancy basis, it is identified as unspecified rather than assumed.
Five expensive cruise examples and what they include
1. Regent Seven Seas’ 2028 “Legends of the Pacific” World Cruise
In an April 2025 announcement, Regent Seven Seas Cruises listed fares of $88,499 to $837,899 per guest, depending on suite, for this 133-night voyage aboard Seven Seas Splendor. The sailing is scheduled to depart Los Angeles on January 5, 2028, and end in San Francisco after visiting 74 ports. Regent said the itinerary offers up to 409 shore excursions. These are announced fares, not guaranteed current prices or a single standard fare for every guest.

Regent’s April 2026–May 2027 brochure provides context on the line’s fare structure, but it covers a different booking period and should not be treated as the 2028 voyage’s itemized fare terms. Its All-Inclusive Cruise Fare lists unlimited shore excursions, specialty restaurants, beverages, Wi-Fi, gratuities and valet laundry. Its Ultimate All-Inclusive Fare adds round-trip flights, airport-to-ship transfers and a $500-per-suite private executive chauffeur credit, subject to the brochure’s terms.
2. Regent Seven Seas’ 2027 World Cruise Regent Suite
The same April 2025 Regent announcement reported that the 4,443-square-foot Regent Suite on the 2027 World Cruise was reserved for $1.7 million for two guests. This is a reported booking for a specific suite, not a starting fare, a per-person price or proof that the suite is currently available. It is also not the same sailing as Regent’s 2028 “Legends of the Pacific” voyage.

3. Seabourn’s 2026 World Cruise
Seabourn describes its 2026 World Cruise as a voyage to 63 destinations in 14 countries, departing January 6, 2026, with seven overnight stays. Its World Cruise page lists added benefits for full-voyage guests, including a two-night pre-cruise hotel stay, round-trip business-class air, laundry, door-to-door private car transfers, valet luggage shipping, a medical services package and upgraded Starlink-powered Wi-Fi. The visa package is for eligible U.S. and Canadian residents or passport holders.
The page also lists shipboard credit of $6,000 for Ocean View and Veranda Suites and $10,000 for Penthouse and Premium Suites, subject to restrictions. These are voyage-specific benefits; they should not be assumed to apply to other Seabourn sailings or bookings that do not meet the page’s terms.

4. Seabourn Pursuit South Pacific itineraries
Kiplinger’s 2026 article reported that an 11-day Polynesia & Melanesia sailing aboard Seabourn Pursuit had Veranda Suites starting at around $10,000, with Panorama Penthouse Suites above $14,000. The article did not establish an occupancy basis for those two figures, so they should not be compared directly with a confirmed per-person or two-guest total.
Kiplinger also reported a 27-day Polynesia, Melanesia & Indonesia itinerary starting above $17,000 per person, based on double occupancy. These are article-reported 2026 examples rather than current Seabourn quotes. The article does not itemize the full included-benefit package for these fares.

5. Seabourn Northwest Passage expedition
Seabourn’s Northwest Passage page describes an expedition with a 23-person team that includes specialists such as biologists and historians, as well as Zodiac cruises, landings and guided walks. For 2026 sailings, the page lists economy air, full laundry, a Helly Hansen expedition parka and a waterproof day pack among the added amenities.
This example highlights a different kind of value from a world cruise: guided access and expedition equipment as well as the voyage itself. The cited page does not provide a fare figure, so it cannot be ranked against the priced examples above.

What luxury-cruise fares may bundle
“All-inclusive” is not a uniform promise across cruise lines, voyages or fare options. In the examples here, inclusions vary from onboard services to transportation and guided activities.
- Onboard costs: Regent’s brochure lists specialty dining, beverages, Wi-Fi, gratuities and valet laundry in its All-Inclusive Cruise Fare.
- Travel to and from the ship: Regent’s brochure places round-trip flights, airport-to-ship transfers and a $500-per-suite chauffeur credit in its Ultimate All-Inclusive Fare. Seabourn’s 2026 World Cruise page lists business-class air, a pre-cruise hotel stay and private car transfers for eligible full-voyage guests.
- Activities and access: Regent’s 2028 announcement says the itinerary offers up to 409 shore excursions. Seabourn’s Northwest Passage page describes Zodiac cruises, landings and guided walks with an expedition team.
- Voyage-specific extras: Seabourn lists luggage shipping, medical services, Wi-Fi upgrades and suite-dependent shipboard credit for its 2026 World Cruise. Its Northwest Passage page lists expedition clothing and equipment for 2026 sailings.
Check the terms for the exact voyage, fare option, suite and passenger eligibility before treating any listed benefit as part of a particular quote.
Other dated fares that show the range—not the record
Kiplinger’s 2026 article also reported a $9,849-per-guest fare for a 21-day Oceania Mediterranean cruise from Trieste to Athens, with calls including Hvar and an overnight in Istanbul. That dated example is not evidence of Oceania’s highest fare or a place in a global top-ten ranking.
More broadly, a lower fare for a shorter sailing or smaller suite cannot be compared directly with a longer itinerary or a premium suite. A useful comparison needs the voyage date, duration, cabin category, price per guest or per booking, occupancy assumptions and fare inclusions.
