Its Standard trim starts at RMB 219,900—RMB 4,000 more than the previous Standard’s list price, but RMB 10,000 less than the updated car’s pre-sale price. Those are different comparisons, and both matter when judging whether the SU7 “costs more.”
How much does the new Xiaomi SU7 cost?
Xiaomi’s 2025 annual report lists these mainland China launch prices for the new-generation SU7, launched in March 2026:
| Trim | Launch price in China |
|---|---|
| Standard | RMB 219,900 |
| Pro | RMB 249,900 |
| Max | RMB 303,900 |
These are launch prices reported by Xiaomi’s 2025 annual report. The figures are for China; the cited sources do not establish prices or availability in other markets.
Does the facelift really cost more?
It depends on the reference price. At the entry level, the new Standard’s RMB 219,900 launch price is RMB 4,000 above the previous generation’s RMB 215,900 list price, a calculated comparison of reported prices. But the new Standard had been offered at RMB 229,900 before launch, so its final price was RMB 10,000 below that pre-sale figure, according to Reuters reporting republished by MarketScreener.

What changed in the new-generation SU7?
Powertrain and range
Xiaomi says the lineup uses a silicon-carbide high-voltage platform and that the HyperEngine V6s Plus achieves 94% battery-to-wheel energy transmission efficiency. The company lists up to 902 km of CLTC range for the Pro. CLTC is a test-cycle figure, not a promise of real-world driving distance; the cited material does not establish independently tested range.

How to interpret early price reports
Pre-launch coverage included speculation about a larger increase, but those reports were not final pricing. In January 2026, CnEVPost reported pre-sale prices of RMB 229,900, RMB 259,900 and RMB 309,900 for the Standard, Pro and Max. The eventual launch prices were lower: RMB 219,900, RMB 249,900 and RMB 303,900. For the final figures, Xiaomi’s March 2026 annual report is the primary source; the earlier forecasts and pre-sale numbers should not be treated as launch prices.
The price and feature details here concern the mainland China launch. The cited material does not establish international availability, independent head-to-head results, real-world range, or long-term reliability.
