Four performers have third-party estimates in the cited sources, but the figures are not verified disclosures, do not cover the full cast and are not directly comparable—especially because Brandon Lee’s estimate refers to his wealth at the time of his death in 1993.
Selected estimates, from lowest to highest
The figures below are selected third-party estimates, not a ranking of the complete cast. Celebrity Net Worth publishes the estimates; its pages do not establish an audited method or access to the performers’ private assets and liabilities.

| Performer | Estimated net worth | What the figure represents |
|---|---|---|
| Brandon Lee | $2 million | Celebrity Net Worth estimate at the time of his death in 1993; its page was last updated in 2026. Source. |
| David Patrick Kelly | $2 million | Celebrity Net Worth estimate; page dated September 1, 2026. Source. |
| Michael Massee | $2 million | Celebrity Net Worth estimate; its page was published approximately six months before access in October 2026. Source. |
| Ernie Hudson | $5 million | Celebrity Net Worth estimate; its page was published approximately 5.8 years before access in October 2026. Source. |
The cited estimates tie Lee, Kelly and Massee at $2 million, with Hudson’s estimate higher at $5 million. That is only a numerical ordering of the figures shown—not evidence that the performers had equal wealth, or that Hudson is definitively the wealthiest member of the film’s cast. Lee’s amount is explicitly historical, and Hudson’s source page is substantially older than the other dated pages.
Why a full cast ranking is not supported
The Crow is the 1994 film, distinct from later entries in the franchise. Miramax identifies Brandon Lee, Ernie Hudson, Michael Wincott, Bai Ling and David Patrick Kelly among its stars (Miramax’s official film page). The broader credited cast also includes Rochelle Davis, Michael Massee and Tony Todd, among others; Rotten Tomatoes’ cast listing identifies their roles.

The four estimates above therefore cannot represent every cast member. A defensible complete ranking would need estimates for the full cast based on a consistent method and comparable dates. The available figures do not meet that standard, so an exact answer to “who was richest?” is not established by these sources.

- They are estimates, not confirmed balances. Celebrity Net Worth does not provide an audited valuation here, and the cited pages do not document the performers’ complete assets and liabilities.
- A tie is only a tie in the published estimates. Three $2 million estimates do not establish that Lee, Kelly and Massee had equal wealth.
- Dates matter. Lee’s number refers to 1993, not a current value. The other pages also have different publication or update dates, so their figures should not be read as same-date valuations.
Brandon Lee’s reported salary for the film
Celebrity Net Worth also lists a $750,000 salary for The Crow, but the cited material does not include a primary contract or independently verified payroll record. Treat it as a secondary-source report, not a confirmed payment. It is separate from the site’s $2 million estimate of Lee’s net worth at the time of his death.
