Why the $89 headline is easy to misread
Plex has run promotions at or near $89.99 in several past years, but a recurring pattern is not proof of a live offer. Historical Plex forum discussions document the 2019 promotion and a 2023 offer, while deal-community posts report offers in 2022 and 2024. Those posts are evidence of past promotions, not active coupon instructions.

Plex Pass is a premium feature tier for a Plex account and media setup. It does not buy movies or TV shows, include other streaming subscriptions, or grant rights to media. How to verify a Plex promotion safely

Can existing subscribers move to Lifetime?
