Google’s US Pixel Referral Program gives an eligible first-time referral-code user 10% off an eligible Pixel phone bought through the Google Store. The person who refers the buyer earns $50 in Google Store credit after the buyer’s return period. It is not an automatic first-purchase coupon: referrers are admitted by invitation, and product or promotion restrictions can block a code.
What the Pixel referral offer includes
| Participant | Benefit | Important terms |
|---|---|---|
| Referred buyer | 10% off the highest-value eligible Pixel phone in the cart | Must be a first-time referral-code user, sign in to a Google Account, and buy through the US Google Store. |
| Referrer | $50 in Google Store credit per successful referral | Credit is issued 15 days after the buyer’s allowable return period ends and expires 365 days after issuance. |
| Referrer’s campaign limit | Up to 10 successful referrals, or $500 in total credit | Google’s US program terms set this cap per campaign. |
Google describes the current US offer as applying to “any Pixel phone,” with the discount taken from the highest-value Pixel in the cart. The September 2025 launch coverage focused on Pixel 10, but that launch context does not establish a permanent Pixel 10-only restriction. Check the live product and checkout terms for the model you want. Google’s US referral terms are the authoritative source for current eligibility.

Who can give or use a code?
Referrers
Google says a referrer must be an active Pixel phone user who was opted in to Pixel emails when the program launched and received an invitation or was otherwise admitted to the campaign. Participation is invitation-based; owning a Pixel does not by itself guarantee a code. Google says it may expand eligibility, but does not promise open enrollment.
Recipients
The recipient must not have used a referral code in the program before, must be signed in to a Google Account, and must purchase through the Google Store. A referrer cannot redeem their own code. Each code can be used once.

The official page cited here is for the US. Terms vary by market: Google’s Japan page describes a 5,000-yen points reward for the referrer, while its France page describes €50 in credit. Do not assume US dollar amounts or eligibility apply elsewhere. Google Japan’s program page and Google France’s program page give local terms.
How to get and redeem a referral code
- An invited Pixel user opens the referral invitation or program link and sends a code to a friend by email or text.
- The recipient signs in to a Google Account and adds an eligible Pixel phone to the cart at the US Google Store.
- Enter the referral code during checkout and check that the discount appears in the order total before placing the order.
- Only complete payment after confirming the discount is shown. A purchase through a carrier, retailer, Google Fi, or another channel is not a Google Store referral purchase.
Google advises checking the spam folder and confirming that the referrer entered the right email address or phone number if a code does not arrive. Avoid relying on a code copied from a public post: codes are single-use and may already be redeemed, expired, or tied to another market or campaign. A community thread can show that people share codes, but not that a particular one remains valid: example code-sharing thread.

How much does 10% save?
The discount is calculated against the eligible phone price at checkout. These are arithmetic examples, not verified current Google Store prices; taxes are not included.

|---|---|---|
| $599 | $59.90 | $539.10 |

Use the live price for the exact model and configuration you intend to buy. A 10% discount on a sale price may be unavailable if that sale excludes promo codes, so the cart total—not the list price multiplied by 90%—is the number to compare.

Can the code be combined with a sale or another discount?
Google says referral discounts may be combined with most offers, but not all. Its terms identify exclusions around certain major promotional events and introductory offers for newly launched Pixel devices. The US Google Store’s offer listings have also included Pixel sales whose terms prohibit promotional codes or simultaneous bundle offers. Treat stacking as conditional, not guaranteed, and check both the referral terms and the specific offer terms at checkout.
For example, the store’s July 2026 Pixel offer listings showed discounts with an end date of July 26, 2026; those are historical listings, not confirmation of prices or promotions available now. Check current US Google Store offers and the cart before deciding.

Compare the referral code with other ways to save
Google Store sale or trade-in
Compare the final amount due after any direct price reduction and trade-in value with the amount after the referral code. A larger instant discount or trade-in offer can beat 10%; the referral code is most attractive when the phone is otherwise at full price and the code is accepted. Google’s phone offers page lists phone promotions and refurbished options, but eligibility and dates vary.

ID.me discount
Google advertises a separate 10% discount for verified US military members, veterans, first responders, nurses, medical providers, teachers, students, hospital employees, and government employees. It requires verification through ID.me, is subject to product and checkout restrictions, and Google says it cannot be combined with other discount codes or offers. Compare it with the referral offer rather than assuming both can apply. See Google’s ID.me discount and troubleshooting information.

Google Fi or carrier promotion
A Fi or carrier deal may have greater headline value, but it is not a like-for-like cash discount. Fi promotions can combine an instant device discount with monthly credits and may require a new line or qualifying plan, timely activation, and continued service. Changing or cancelling service can end future credits or affect eligibility. Compare the credits you realistically expect to receive against the referral saving, including any service commitment. Google lists relevant promotions on its US offers page.
Certified refurbished phone
Google’s offers page has advertised certified refurbished Pixel phones at discounts of up to 40%, with a one-year warranty. That may save more than 10% for a buyer willing to choose refurbished rather than a new device. Availability and models vary; check the current listing rather than treating the advertised maximum as a guaranteed discount on a particular phone.
Why a code may fail
- It has already been used: Each code is single-use. Ask the referrer for a different valid code.
- You have used a referral code before: Google limits recipients to first-time use in this program.
- You are not signed in: Sign in to your Google Account before checkout.
- The offer is blocked for the product or period: A launch offer or major promotion may exclude referral codes, or the product may have separate introductory terms.
- The code is for another region or campaign: Use a code issued for the same Google Store market and confirm the campaign remains active.
- You are the referrer: You cannot redeem your own code.
- Your cart has multiple phones: The 10% applies to the highest-value eligible Pixel phone, not necessarily every phone in the order.
- You are buying through another seller: Referral redemption is for an eligible Google Store purchase, not a carrier or retailer checkout.
- The code did not arrive: Check spam and ask the referrer to verify the contact details used.
If the checkout rejects the code, do not place the order expecting the discount to be applied later. Google’s official program page explains the code rules and recommends obtaining another code when the original has already been redeemed: Pixel Referral Program.
Is the Pixel referral program still available?
Google’s US referral page continued to describe the program as of August 18, 2026, and did not state a universal end date. That does not guarantee a particular code, campaign, phone, or promotional window will remain eligible. Check the official page and confirm the discount appears in the live US Google Store cart before purchase.
