The 7 Meme Coins in a January 2025 Sponsored List—and What It Can Tell Buyers Today

The seven tokens came from a January 2025 sponsored article whose publisher said it did not verify the claims. The list is not a current buying guide or a basis for predicting returns.

The seven tokens named in a “buy this weekend” article were BTFD Coin (BTFD), Just a Chill Guy, SPX6900, Act I: The AI Prophecy, Moo Deng, Fartcoin and Snek. That article was published on January 20, 2025, so it is not a current-weekend buying list. It was also sponsored, and its publisher said it did not verify the sponsored claims. The article therefore cannot establish that any of these tokens is available, suitable to buy now or likely to deliver a return.

Which seven meme coins did the article name?

The Blockchain’s January 20, 2025 article listed the following tokens. The table describes what that dated article can establish—not the tokens’ current status.

Token named What the January 2025 article establishes
BTFD Coin (BTFD) It was included in the sponsored list and accompanied by promotional claims detailed below.
Just a Chill Guy It was included in the list; the source does not establish its current chain, contract, liquidity, trading venue or project status.
SPX6900 It was included in the list; the source does not establish its current chain, contract, liquidity, trading venue or project status.
Act I: The AI Prophecy It was included in the list; the source does not establish its current chain, contract, liquidity, trading venue or project status.
Moo Deng It was included in the list; the source does not establish its current chain, contract, liquidity, trading venue or project status.
Fartcoin It was included in the list; the source does not establish its current chain, contract, liquidity, trading venue or project status.
Snek It was included in the list; the source does not establish its current chain, contract, liquidity, trading venue or project status.

The names and claims in the original article are available in The Blockchain’s January 20, 2025 article. Inclusion in that list is not evidence of an endorsement, current purchase availability or independently assessed quality.

Why the “amazing returns” claim is not a forecast

The article was labeled sponsored content. The publisher’s disclaimer says: “We do not review, verify, or fact-check sponsored content for accuracy, completeness, or reliability.” That statement describes how the publisher handled the article; it does not independently validate or invalidate any token. It does mean readers should treat the article’s project descriptions, figures and return language as promotional claims, not verified investment research.

The source offers no independently verified performance record, current market data or basis for estimating future returns. It cannot support a ranking of the seven coins or a conclusion that one is a better purchase than another. Meme-token prices can be highly volatile, and a list’s confident wording is not evidence that a gain is likely.

What the article claimed about BTFD Coin

BTFD received specific promotional claims that the other named tokens did not receive in the supplied article material. They remain claims attributed to the sponsored article, not independently confirmed facts:

  • As of January 17, 2025, the article said the presale had raised “over $5.2 million” and had “over 8,600 holders.”
  • It claimed a play-to-earn game launched on January 1, 2025, and staking went live on December 2, 2024.
  • It advertised a 90% APY for staking. That is a historical promotional rate, not a verified current yield or a guarantee of earnings.
  • Its stated presale price and planned listing price were historical promotional figures, not current price information.

The article’s publisher did not verify these claims, and the article does not establish their present-day accuracy or availability. Do not use them as a current quote, evidence of present adoption or an expected return.

What to verify before considering any meme token

The 2025 list does not provide reliable current values for the checks below. For any token under consideration, verify each item using current, primary project disclosures and relevant market or blockchain records; if you cannot confirm it, treat it as unknown rather than filling in the gap from an old promotion.

  • Identity: Confirm the blockchain and exact contract address from an official project source, then independently match the address on the relevant blockchain explorer. A familiar token name alone does not identify an asset.
  • Supply and ownership: Check circulating supply, fully diluted supply, holder concentration and whether token controls allow changes such as minting or pausing transfers. Understand what those controls mean before relying on a project’s description.
  • Liquidity and trading: Confirm the actual venue and available liquidity, not just a quoted price. Thin liquidity can make a displayed price difficult to realize when selling.
  • Utility and delivery: Separate live, usable features from announced plans. Look for dated evidence that a feature works and is accessible, rather than treating a roadmap or promotional claim as delivery.
  • Access and restrictions: Check current purchase availability and the rules that apply where you live. The old article does not establish either.

Can this list tell you what to buy this weekend?

No. It is a historical sponsored list, not a current comparison: the cited source leaves material facts such as chain, contract address, liquidity, venue, project status and local purchase restrictions unresolved. Without verified current information, it is not possible to responsibly compare these tokens or make a purchase recommendation from this article.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
