There is no reliable like-for-like “Synergy vs. Ultimatix” comparison until you identify which vendors and products those names refer to. Synergy appears in the reviewed sources as both an HRMS marketed by Synergy Interface Ltd. and a separate employee app from Synergy Telematics Pvt. Ltd. Ultimatix branding appears on Orange Technolab customer payroll portals; Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) separately markets named HR products. Check the vendor and product name on your login page, quotation, or contract before evaluating either option.
What do “Synergy” and “Ultimatix” refer to?
Synergy can mean two different offerings
Synergy Interface Ltd. markets an HRMS and lists HR & Payroll among its products. Its published feature description covers employee onboarding and records, attendance and leave, payroll, performance evaluation, training, PF and tax calculations, and HR reporting. It says attendance data can come from biometric or RFID devices. These are the vendor’s descriptions, not independently verified results. See Synergy Interface Ltd.’s HRMS product page and its 2024 company profile.
A separate Google Play app named “Synergy HRMS” is attributed to Synergy Telematics Pvt. Ltd. Its listing describes employee access to attendance, leave applications and status, payslips, reimbursements, queries, holidays, travel expenses, policy documents, profiles, and communications. It is not evidence that this app and Synergy Interface Ltd.’s HRMS are the same product. View the Synergy HRMS app listing.
Ultimatix branding does not settle the vendor question
Orange Technolab’s customer payroll portal pages use Ultimatix branding and show customer-specific login contexts, including an Orange Technolab company portal and an India Japan Lighting portal. Those pages establish branded deployments; they do not establish a public purchase route, full product scope, or support terms. TCS’s public materials describe DigiGOV HRMS as an end-to-end HR/HCM offering for enterprises and Cognitive HR as a cloud-based HR platform. They are distinct named offerings; the pages do not establish that either is the Orange Technolab-branded Ultimatix portal or that a TCS employee portal is a generally purchasable HRMS. What can be compared from public information?
The available descriptions are uneven, so this is an identity and evaluation guide rather than a ranking. Synergy Interface Ltd. publishes a feature list; the Orange Technolab portal pages establish branded customer logins but do not provide equivalent product detail. The separate Synergy Telematics app listing describes employee self-service, not the scope of Synergy Interface Ltd.’s HRMS.

| Question | What the reviewed sources establish | What remains to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Product identity | Synergy Interface Ltd. markets an HRMS; Synergy Telematics Pvt. Ltd. is named on a separate app listing. Orange Technolab customer portals use Ultimatix branding. | The legal vendor, product edition, and contracting entity for the specific option being offered. |
| Published capabilities | Synergy Interface describes onboarding, employee records, attendance and leave, payroll, performance, training, PF/tax calculations, reporting, and biometric/RFID attendance input. Orange portal pages do not provide comparable detail. | Demonstrated workflows, feature availability in the quoted edition, and comparable coverage for the other product. |
| Payroll jurisdictions and statutory support | Synergy Interface mentions PF and tax calculations; the sources do not establish comparable country coverage or compliance responsibilities. | Countries supported, statutory calculations and filings, payroll adjustments, payslips, and accounting integrations. |
| Pricing and implementation | No comparable public price or implementation terms are established by these sources. | Written pricing, setup and migration scope, training, support response, customization, and ongoing maintenance. |
How to evaluate the actual products
- Confirm identity and eligibility. Match the legal vendor and exact product or edition on the login page, quotation, and contract. Ask whether it is available to outside organizations, which geographies it serves, and what customer sizes it supports. Do not treat a branded customer portal as proof of general availability.
- Test payroll against your rules. Ask each vendor to demonstrate your actual payroll scenarios, including statutory calculations, filings, payslips, adjustments, and payroll-to-accounting transfer. Get written confirmation of which party handles compliance and which jurisdictions are supported; the reviewed descriptions do not establish comparable coverage.
- Walk through core HR workflows. Test employee records, onboarding, attendance, shifts, leave, approvals, performance, and employee self-service with the people who will use them. Synergy Interface describes several of these areas, but a feature list alone does not confirm how they work in your required edition.
- Check devices and integrations. If you rely on biometric or RFID attendance, identity systems, finance or accounting software, APIs, data migration, or single sign-on, request a current integration list and a demonstration of the exact connection. Synergy Interface mentions biometric/RFID attendance input; the sources do not document a comparable integration matrix.
- Request security and privacy evidence. Ask for current details on access controls, encryption, retention and deletion, audit reports, incident handling, and data residency. The Google Play listing for the separate Synergy Telematics app reports “Data isn’t encrypted” and “Data can’t be deleted” in its data safety section. These are app-store disclosures, not an independent security audit, and they must not be attributed to Synergy Interface Ltd.’s product.
- Compare the full cost and delivery plan. Get written quotations covering licensing or subscription, setup, data migration, training, support, customization, and maintenance. Public materials reviewed here do not provide comparable prices or implementation terms.
Which one should you choose?
Do not choose on the names alone. First identify the exact Synergy vendor and the vendor behind the Ultimatix-branded service. Then compare verified demonstrations, jurisdiction-specific payroll support, security documentation, integration fit, implementation commitments, and written total cost for your organization. The available public information does not support a claim that one option is better overall.
