Suge Knight Net Worth: What the $200,000 Estimate Does—and Doesn’t—Tell Us

Celebrity Net Worth estimates Suge Knight’s net worth at $200,000, but no current financial statement verifies the figure. His 2006 personal bankruptcy filing is historical, and Death Row Records’ bankruptcy was a separate company case.

Celebrity Net Worth lists Suge Knight’s net worth at $200,000, but that is a publisher estimate, not a verified current financial statement. The strongest official figures available here are from Knight’s 2006 bankruptcy filing: a federal court report summarized his personal case as $4 million in assets and $137 million in liabilities. Those historical figures do not establish his net worth today.

What is Suge Knight’s net worth?

As of the Celebrity Net Worth page checked October 8, 2026, the site displays an estimate of $200,000 for Knight. The page does not provide a transparent calculation or a current balance sheet, so the figure should be treated as an estimate—not as a court finding or independently verified amount. No current, independently verified personal net-worth figure is established by the sources available here. A person’s net worth is generally the value of assets minus liabilities; neither a historical bankruptcy filing nor a third-party estimate can confirm Knight’s present-day balance sheet.

What Knight’s 2006 bankruptcy filing reported

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California’s 2006 annual report says Knight filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on April 4, 2006, listing $4 million in assets and $137 million in liabilities. Those are filing-era amounts, not a current valuation. U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California, 2006 annual report

The Smoking Gun, reporting details attributed to the filing in May 2006, gave more precise totals: $4.4 million in assets and $137.4 million in debt. It also reported an $11 balance in one bank account. That account balance is a narrow detail from the filing period; it is not Knight’s total assets or net worth. The Smoking Gun’s 2006 report

Death Row Records’ bankruptcy was a separate case

Death Row Records filed for Chapter 11 on the same day as Knight’s personal filing, but it was a separate company case. The court’s 2006 report lists the label’s assets as undetermined and its liabilities as $111 million. Those company liabilities should not be added to Knight’s personal liabilities or treated as his personal debt.

What the 2022 Death Row brand acquisition does—and doesn’t—show

In 2022, Blackstone announced that Snoop Dogg acquired the Death Row Records brand from MNRK Music Group, which Blackstone controlled. The announcement identifies MNRK as the transferor and does not establish that Knight sold the brand or received proceeds. It also does not establish ownership of every master recording, catalog right, or other asset associated with Death Row. Blackstone’s 2022 announcement

How to verify bankruptcy records

United States Courts says bankruptcy case records can be accessed through PACER, the federal courts’ electronic records service. A docket may provide historical case documents, but those records alone may not establish someone’s current assets, debts, or net worth. United States Courts: Find a Case (PACER)
