Starbucks says its U.S. holiday menu launches November 5, 2026. The preview names three new drinks and four returning favorites; it also promises new food and a return of Red Cup Day, though neither the food lineup nor the cup giveaway date is specified yet. Which drink is “worth your sip” depends on whether you want a new dessert-inspired option, a fruit-forward refresher, or a familiar seasonal flavor.
When does the Starbucks holiday menu start?
The 2026 U.S. holiday menu launches November 5, according to Starbucks’ October 5 announcement. The preview does not give separate availability dates for individual drinks.
What’s new on the 2026 holiday menu?
Starbucks names three new drinks. Its descriptions provide a starting point for choosing, but do not establish how the drinks taste in practice.
- Tiramisu Velvet Latte: Available hot or iced. Starbucks describes it as inspired by the Italian dessert and topped with velvet mascarpone cold foam and a cocoa and coffee dusting.
- Tiramisu Velvet Cold Brew: The cold-brew format, also topped with velvet mascarpone cold foam and a cocoa and coffee dusting.
- Apple Pomegranate Refresher: Starbucks calls this a bright seasonal Refresher. The preview does not provide more ingredient details.
Which Starbucks holiday drinks are returning?
The preview lists four returning beverages:
- Peppermint Mocha
- Caramel Brulée Latte
- Sugar Cookie Latte
- Gingerbread Chai
What might be worth trying?
There is no published taste test, price or nutrition comparison in Starbucks’ preview, so there is no evidence-based “best” drink to declare. Instead, use the announced formats and flavor descriptions to narrow the choice:

What about holiday food and Red Cup Day?
Starbucks says new food will be part of the holiday menu, but its October 5 preview does not name the items. Treat the food lineup as unannounced rather than relying on guesses.
Red Cup Day will return. Starbucks says customers at participating stores can receive a collectible reusable holiday cup with the purchase of any handcrafted holiday beverage, while supplies last. The announcement does not give the event date.

Holiday coffee and merchandise beyond the café menu
For grocery retail, Starbucks announced a new Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Flavored Coffee, alongside returning holiday coffees, creamers and ready-to-drink favorites. This packaged coffee is distinct from the handcrafted Peppermint Mocha sold as a café beverage. The announcement does not confirm an Amazon listing.
Starbucks’ October 5 merchandise preview says items begin arriving November 5. It names a Pike Place-inspired Holiday Village collection and a retro-styled Peppermint Mocha collection. A Winter Wonderland collection is scheduled for November 17. The original Bearista Glass Cold Cup is also set to return, but Starbucks has not yet specified its timing.
