Open the official SBI Apprentice result
The direct PDF is titled “FINAL RESULT – Roll Numbers of Provisionally Selected Candidates for Engagement of Apprentice.” It contains roll numbers, not candidate names. The archive is the better route if you need to find other official material for this recruitment, including marks or selection from the wait list.

How to check the SBI Apprentice result by roll number
- Open the official PDF or navigate to SBI’s Recruitment Results & Archive.
- In the archive, locate “Engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961” and confirm Advertisement No. CRPD/APPR/2023-24/17.
- Open the final result PDF, rather than the separate marks or wait-list material.
- Use the PDF viewer’s find or search function to look for your roll number. Check the number against your own recruitment record.
SBI’s Careers page says it does not publish names of shortlisted or selected candidates on its website. It publishes roll numbers or registration numbers and informs shortlisted or selected candidates individually through SMS, email, or post. Treat an unofficial list of names or a message claiming selection as unverified; SBI says recruitment information is published through its career websites. Read SBI’s Careers page.
What “provisionally selected” means
The PDF describes the listed candidates as “Provisionally Selected.” It is not an unconditional appointment notice. SBI’s 2023 advertisement set out an online written test followed by a local-language test, with medical fitness and document and eligibility verification as part of final selection. The result document does not itself establish that every listed candidate has completed those later checks.

Exam dates and recruitment context
The result PDF records that the online examinations were held on 4, 7, and 23 December 2023. SBI’s original advertisement had described October or November 2023 as the tentative exam period; those earlier months were a schedule estimate, not the actual dates stated in the result document.
The 2023 advertisement listed 6,160 tentative apprentice training seats across states and Union Territories, subject to change according to SBI’s actual requirements. That was the advertised number of training seats, not a count of candidates on the result list. The notice described the apprenticeship as one year and stated that apprentices were not SBI employees and were not guaranteed regular employment during or after training.
