Bell’s listed 24-month device payments are $48.76 per month for the Flip7 and $83.34 per month for the Fold7. That works out to $1,170.24 and $2,000.16 in advertised device payments, respectively, before taxes, the required wireless plan and other fees.
The bigger warning is availability: Samsung Canada’s direct-buy pages currently display both phones and their storage selections as “Not Available.” Carrier pages may retain listings after inventory or promotions have changed. Treat the figures below as a buying framework and verify the final storage, plan, credits, deferred balance and availability before ordering.

Quick comparison
The table separates verified public information from prices that were not exposed clearly enough to publish as current quotes. Bell’s figures are the latest publicly indexed numbers found on its SmartPay device page, not a live checkout confirmation.

Bell SmartPay: the clearest surviving figures
Bell’s indexed device page lists the following SmartPay offers:
- Galaxy Z Flip7: $48.76 per month for 24 months, $0 down and 0% APR. Bell lists a $629.96 credit and a $1,800 full device price.
- Galaxy Z Fold7: $83.34 per month for 24 months, $0 down and 0% APR. Bell lists a $999.92 credit and a $3,000 full device price.
Both listings require an eligible two-year rate plan with the Flex Option. That plan requirement is crucial: the phone payment is not the total cost of getting service from Bell.
Bell’s 24-month arithmetic
| Device | Monthly payment | 24 device payments | Listed full device price | Difference between full price and advertised payments |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Galaxy Z Flip7 | $48.76 | $1,170.24 | $1,800 | $629.76, approximately the listed $629.96 credit |
| Galaxy Z Fold7 | $83.34 | $2,000.16 | $3,000 | $999.84, approximately the listed $999.92 credit |
The Flip7 is $34.58 less per month than the Fold7 on these Bell figures, or about $829.92 less across 24 advertised payments. The listed full-price difference is $1,200. These are device-payment comparisons only; they do not prove Bell is the cheapest complete two-year option because plan prices, eligibility, taxes and any end-of-term conditions also matter.
Because Bell’s accessible figures were not confirmed through a current checkout session, check the selected storage, plan, credit, taxes and final device balance before accepting the offer.
Rogers: standard financing versus Save & Return
Rogers explains two relevant structures, but its accessible official financing page did not expose a current model-specific Fold7 or Flip7 quote.
With standard financing, the device is generally financed over the term and the customer keeps it after making the required payments. Rogers also describes an entry-financing option in which the phone is financed at full price or with a smaller discount.
Save & Return reduces the apparent monthly payment by applying a credit, but it is not automatically a permanent ownership discount. At the end of the two-year term, the customer chooses between returning the phone or repaying the Save & Return credit to keep it.
Rank #2
- Model name: Galaxy Z Flip7
- Operating system: Android 16
- Display Size: 6.9 inches
- Cellular technology: 5G
- Storage Capacity: 512GB of internal storage provides ample space for apps, photos, videos, and files without worrying about running out of memory
Rogers gives a generic example of a $1,440 device costing $60 per month over 24 months. That is an illustration of the financing method, not a quote for either Samsung foldable.
What to inspect in Rogers checkout
- Select the exact model and storage capacity.
- Record the regular device price, monthly payment and any Save & Return credit.
- Find the amount due if you keep the phone at the end of 24 months.
- Check whether the offer is public, account-specific, trade-in-based or plan-specific.
- Compare the standard-financing total with Save & Return’s total cost to own.
TELUS: Bring-It-Back can lower the payment without lowering the ownership cost
TELUS has a live Galaxy Z Fold7 product page that confirms Bring-It-Back financing, but the accessible page does not expose a reliable current monthly payment or total price. It lists a 256GB Fold7 in Blue Shadow, among other product details, but those specifications should not be mistaken for a price quote.
Bring-It-Back works as a return-or-keep arrangement: at the end of the term, the customer can return the phone or pay the displayed Bring-It-Back amount to keep it. A low monthly payment can therefore represent a low cost of use for two years, not the final cost of permanent ownership.
At checkout, look for the full monthly bill, the Bring-It-Back amount, return-condition rules, the required plan and the balance payable if service is cancelled or the phone is paid off early.
Freedom Mobile: verify MyTab and TradeUp in real time
Freedom’s shop identifies MyTab and TradeUp as relevant device-financing mechanisms, but indexed results for the Flip7 conflict. One snapshot showed $60.96 per month, while another dated promotional result showed $14 per month with TradeUp and a $45-per-month plan. Those figures appear to represent different promotional periods or eligibility conditions and should not be presented as a current price.
Freedom search results also expose newer Samsung foldables, which is another reason not to assume that a retained Flip7 listing means every colour, storage tier or activation path remains available.
Check the live shop for the device payment, exact plan price, TradeUp or MyTab balance, trade-in requirements, taxes and any add-ons. Freedom’s plan-price promise does not necessarily freeze separate device-financing charges or optional services.
Samsung Canada direct purchase
Samsung’s Flip7 buy page and Fold7 buy page currently show the device and storage selections as Not Available. That does not establish permanent discontinuation, but it means Samsung direct is not a dependable immediate purchase route based on the checked pages.
Recommended Free Tools
When inventory returns, buying directly can provide unlocked ownership without a carrier’s required two-year plan or return program. Samsung also promotes trade-in, Samsung financing and an Annual Upgrade Program through its Canadian buying pages. Trade-in values are personalized and depend on the old device, condition and promotion, so they should be treated as quotes rather than guaranteed savings.
Samsung Care+ is another possible cost. The product pages describe coverage for accidental damage, mechanical malfunction or electrical breakdown and battery failure. Care+ Premium loss-and-theft coverage is not available for products delivered or picked up in Quebec. Compare its price and exclusions with carrier protection, credit-card coverage and the option of self-insuring.
Storage changes the comparison
Samsung Canada lists these storage choices:
- Galaxy Z Flip7: 256GB and 512GB.
- Galaxy Z Fold7: 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.
Carrier-specific storage pricing was not consistently exposed in the available pages. Do not compare a carrier’s payment for one capacity with Samsung’s price for another, and do not infer Canadian pricing from U.S. launch prices. Confirm the storage selector and the corresponding device price at checkout.
How to calculate the real two-year cost
Use this formula for each offer:
(monthly device payment × number of months) + down payment + taxes + required fees + keep-the-device payment − guaranteed credits

Then calculate the wireless service separately:
total device cost + (required monthly plan × number of months) + plan taxes and fees

Do not call an offer a “free phone” when the apparent $0 payment depends on a costly plan, a trade-in, bill credits or returning the device.

The Flip7 is the economical choice on Bell’s available figures. Its advertised 24-month device-payment total is about $829.92 lower than the Fold7’s. It is also the compact foldable: a lower-cost option for buyers who want a folding design without paying for the Fold line’s larger internal screen.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
The Fold7 is not simply an expensive version of the Flip7. Its internal tablet-sized display makes it a different productivity-oriented form factor. The higher price may be rational for someone who will use multitasking, reading, documents or a larger canvas frequently—but not merely for someone seeking the cheapest foldable.
Which carrier should you choose?
- Bell: Consider it if the listed offer is still active, the Flex Option plan suits you and the device credit beats your unlocked alternatives. It currently offers the clearest public arithmetic.
- Rogers: Compare standard financing with Save & Return, especially if you intend to keep the phone. Existing customers may see account-specific pricing unavailable to the public.
- TELUS: Bring-It-Back may reduce the monthly payment, but inspect the final keep amount and return conditions. Coverage, family discounts and account benefits can outweigh a higher plan cost for some households.
- Freedom: Check live availability and coverage at your home, workplace and regular travel locations. Do not rely on conflicting indexed promotion snapshots.
- Samsung: Direct purchase is the cleanest unlocked-ownership baseline when stock returns, particularly if avoiding carrier lock-in matters more than a subsidized device payment.
Foldable-specific costs to budget for
Foldables can make protection more consequential than the monthly device price suggests. Budget for a case compatible with the hinge and cover screen, accidental-damage protection if appropriate, and possible repair exposure. Do not assume a return program accepts every condition: check the current carrier rules for screen cracks, hinge damage, liquid indicators, missing accessories, device locks and factory-reset requirements.
Samsung’s product pages also state that the phones do not include a wall charger, so a compatible charger may be an additional purchase.
Checkout checklist
- Confirm the exact phone, storage tier and colour.
- Enter your province to see taxes and fees.
- Separate the device payment from the wireless plan.
- Identify whether the price is public, logged-in, targeted, trade-in-based or promotional.
- Read the full credit terms and determine whether credits stop after cancellation, a plan change or early payoff.
- For Save & Return, Bring-It-Back or TradeUp, record the amount required to keep the phone.
- Read the return-condition, inspection and late-return rules.
- Check the trade-in valuation, condition assumptions and deadline.
- Look for connection, activation, setup, shipping, protection and add-on charges.
- Confirm inventory at the final order step—not just on a retained product page.
Bottom line
On the latest publicly indexed Bell figures, the Galaxy Z Flip7 costs $48.76 per month for 24 months and the Fold7 costs $83.34, before taxes and the required plan. The Flip7 is about $829.92 cheaper over those advertised device payments. But a definitive all-carrier winner cannot be named from the available evidence: Rogers and TELUS do not expose comparable current model-specific prices, Freedom’s indexed promotions conflict, and Samsung Canada marks both phones unavailable. Compare the complete bill and end-of-term ownership outcome at checkout, not just the lowest advertised monthly payment.
