The league reported that 103 players were sold and the eight franchises assembled rosters totaling 141 players. It named Rawalpindi’s Naseem Shah as the auction’s highest-paid player at PKR 8.65 crore. Those league-wide figures provide context, but do not establish that Minhas’s price was a record or unusually high among U19 or emerging players.
What is known about Minhas’s cricket performance?
ProPakistani reported that Minhas scored 172 from 113 balls in the ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup final against India. That score and its tournament context are reported by the outlet in its auction-day coverage.

After HBL PSL 11, the Pakistan Cricket Board said Minhas led Islamabad United in scoring with 349 runs at a strike rate of 155.80 and was named in the Emerging Team of the Tournament. The figures appear in the PCB’s season-end awards announcement.
