The complaints are serious, but they do not establish intentional theft. TechJuice reported that SadaPay blamed a temporary technology-partner issue for incorrect transactions appearing in accounts and said it aimed to restore affected balances within 48 hours; that report did not independently verify that every balance was corrected.
What users reported—and what SadaPay said
TechJuice reported on 17 March 2026 that a withdrawal warning circulated on 15 March as users described incorrect deductions, negative balances, transfers that were stuck or had not arrived, frozen accounts, and difficulty reaching support. These are complaints reported by the outlet, not audited incident statistics. Individual posts describing inaccessible funds are anecdotes; they cannot establish how many accounts were affected or the total amount involved.
As quoted by TechJuice, SadaPay acknowledged reports of incorrect deductions and negative balances, apologized, and attributed the issue to a temporary problem with a technology partner that caused incorrect transactions to appear. The company said it had contacted affected users and was focused on restoring balances within 48 hours. That was the company’s stated aim, not independently confirmed proof of completion.
Does this prove SadaPay stole money?
No. The available reporting establishes that users made allegations and that SadaPay acknowledged an apparent transaction problem. It does not establish that the company intentionally took funds, identify a verified incident-wide count or value, or provide a regulator’s finding or audited remediation report. The words “stealing” and similar phrases in social posts should therefore be treated as accusations, not established facts.

SadaPay’s terms describe an electronic-money account and card or app payments, and say some payments may be blocked, reversed, or delayed for legal, regulatory, fraud-control, or limit-related reasons. Those general terms do not determine whether a specific disputed deduction was proper. The terms also identify SadaPay as regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan.
What to do if your balance or a transaction looks wrong
For a card transaction you do not recognize
- Freeze both your physical and virtual cards in the SadaPay app. SadaPay’s fraud guidance directs users with an unrecognized card transaction to take this step.
- Contact SadaPay through in-app chat and ask its Fraud team to investigate. Do not assume every unexplained balance change is a card transaction; describe the actual entry or missing funds.
For a transfer, deduction, or other complaint
- Keep the transaction ID or reference number, date and time, account statement or activity details, screenshots, and any relevant support correspondence.
- Submit the issue through in-app live chat or email [email protected]. SadaPay’s complaint process asks for your name, account number, contact details, complaint reason and details, and supporting information. For a transaction dispute, include the transaction type, amount, time, reference number, and supporting documents.
- Ask for confirmation that the complaint has been logged and retain the response. SadaPay says it will confirm logging within one working day and update users within five working days.

The company lists these business-day timelines by transaction type. They are published service timelines, not a guarantee that every individual case will be resolved by the stated day.

Where to escalate an unresolved complaint
SadaPay’s terms say users may escalate unresolved complaints to the State Bank of Pakistan. The materials cited here do not establish a current regulatory deadline for that escalation, so do not rely on an unverified time limit.
