His shark aquarium and gold chain also come with striking price claims—but the reporting does not verify ten distinct purchases with reliable prices. Here are the expensive possessions and home features that can be responsibly documented, with each figure tied to its source and date.
The best-documented high-ticket purchases
1. Alpine home: reported $13.9 million
Realtor.com reported in 2018 that Morgan paid $13.9 million for an Alpine, New Jersey, property in 2015. The 21,000-square-foot home was described as having a bowling alley, screening room, pool, and six-car garage. The reported purchase price is not a current valuation, and the article does not establish that Morgan still owns the property. Realtor.com’s report on Morgan’s homes.
2. Earlier New Jersey home: reported $2.2 million
The same Realtor.com account said Morgan paid $2.2 million for a New Jersey home in 2011 and that the house was later listed for sale. This is a separate reported transaction from the 2015 Alpine purchase; the source does not establish a present-day value.
3. Bugatti: Morgan called it a $2 million car
After a collision on June 4, 2019, Morgan told reporters he had just bought a “two million dollar car.” CBS New York identified the vehicle as a Bugatti but did not identify its model. The $2 million figure is Morgan’s description, not an independent appraisal. CBS New York’s report.

What Morgan said in 2018
In an April 2018 account of Morgan’s appearance on The Howard Stern Show, the site reported that he said he had bought a 31,000-square-foot New Jersey house and called its 30,000-gallon aquarium a “million dollar tank.” Those measurements and the price are attributed to that account and should not be treated as a verified invoice. The Howard Stern Show’s 2018 report.
Why other reports give different figures
Realtor.com described an earlier “Jaws”-themed tank as reportedly costing $400,000 to install and housing seven sharks, two stingrays, and an eel. Entertainment Tonight described a 35,000-gallon tank during a 2020 home tour. In 2023, the Dan Patrick Show page said Morgan discussed spending over $1 million on an in-home shark tank. These accounts may refer to different installations or stages; they do not establish one definitive tank size or total cost. Do not add the figures together. Other costly possessions with attributed prices
Gold chain: around $300,000, according to Morgan
A May 2019 report from The Howard Stern Show said Morgan told Stern that his gold chain cost around $300,000. This is Morgan’s stated figure, not an appraisal. The show’s report on the chain.
Cars and collectibles reported without dependable prices
Coverage has also mentioned a Lamborghini, Range Rover, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Michael Jackson glove, and Muhammad Ali boxing shoes. The reports establish mentions or appearances, but do not provide reliable purchase prices for most of these items. A 2018 article described a $300,000 Range Rover with a refrigerator, but the available account does not establish that this was Morgan’s purchase price. A 2019 report said he arrived in a Rolls-Royce Phantom; an Entertainment Tonight home tour mentioned a Lamborghini and Ferrari. Those mentions are not enough to assign prices or dates of purchase.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why this is not a verified list of ten purchases
The strongest available accounts support several large reported purchases and possessions, but not ten distinct items with dependable prices. Some figures are prices Morgan himself gave; others are a publisher’s report or an installation estimate. A house’s bowling alley, pool, screening room, or aquarium is a feature of the property—not a separately priced purchase unless a source establishes that cost. The available accounts also do not provide purchase records, appraisals, or a complete inventory of Morgan’s spending.

- 1:64 Scale Diecast Toy Car
For a personal-finance reader, the useful distinction is between a reported transaction and an eye-catching estimate: Morgan’s $2 million Bugatti description and the reported home prices are not the same kind of evidence as a reported aquarium installation estimate. Each number above belongs to its own report and date, not to a verified balance sheet of his possessions.
