What the $9.5 million figure represents
On January 18, 2024, Khaleej Times reported that Retik Finance’s Stage 5 presale had concluded after raising over $9.5 million. The figure describes one presale stage, not the project’s eventual cumulative total.
On May 21, 2024, Retik Finance reported in a press release that its completed presale had raised $32.05 million and that the token had exchange listings. The $32.05 million is a project-reported figure, not independently audited fundraising evidence. The two amounts therefore refer to different points in the sale and are not contradictory.
What Retik Finance said RETIK and its ecosystem were
Retik Finance described RETIK as an Ethereum mainnet ERC-20 token with a stated total supply of 1 billion. Its website published allocations of 400 million tokens for the presale and 240 million for ecosystem use. Those are project-published tokenomics; they do not establish the current on-chain distribution.
The project characterized RETIK as a community-driven governance token and promoted an ecosystem that included DeFi debit cards, a crypto payment gateway, AI-powered peer-to-peer lending, and a multi-chain non-custodial wallet. These descriptions are project claims, not confirmation that each service is currently available, functional, or accessible in a given country.
What the presale claim schedule said
In guidance published May 28, 2024, Retik Finance said presale tokens would have a one-week cliff followed by 5% weekly vesting for 20 weeks, starting May 29, 2024. This is historical project guidance; it does not establish the present claim status of any individual holder. The project’s guide addressed “How & Where can I buy Retik token?” but the guidance alone does not establish current purchase availability or suitability.
How to read the roadmap and security information
Roadmap entries are plans, not delivery confirmation
Retik Finance’s whitepaper listed milestones including token launch on DEX/CEX in Q3 2024, wallet beta in Q1 2025, desktop services in Q2 2025, virtual cards in Q4 2025, physical cards in Q1 2026, merchant services in Q2 2026, Retik Pay in Q3 2026, and bug bounty and enhancements in Q4 2026. These are roadmap targets, not proof that the products launched or remain available. The whitepaper is a project roadmap and description; the entries do not independently verify delivery.
Audit findings are specific, not a blanket safety judgment
CertiK’s Retik Finance project page listed six audit findings, all acknowledged, including two major findings, and one centralization issue. It showed team verification as “Not Verified,” no CertiK or third-party KYC, and formal verification of 28 out of 30 properties. These are entries on CertiK’s page, not a conclusion that the token or project is safe, successful, or free of risk.

In a response published January 17, 2024, Retik Finance said the token contract then had eight holders and that the largest wallet held 40% of the total supply allocated for presale holders. This is the project’s account of an early distribution concern, not a current holder count or independent chain analysis.

The cited material does not establish RETIK’s price, liquidity, exchange availability, current holder distribution, or whether roadmap services are live as of October 8, 2026. Those conditions can change and require current market, on-chain, or product-status evidence. A past presale total, roadmap target, or audit listing cannot answer them.
