Bloomberg attributed the terms to unnamed people familiar with the deal, so they should be treated as reported figures, not company-confirmed disclosures.
What was reported about Flow’s financing?
Bloomberg reported that Flow raised more than $100 million at a valuation of about $2.5 billion. The accessible report does not provide transaction documents or a complete list of investors. Bloomberg News attributed the financing details to unnamed people familiar with the matter. TechCrunch’s same-day account also attributed the terms to Bloomberg and said it had sought comment from Flow and Andreessen Horowitz. TechCrunch

Who invested, and how does the valuation compare with 2022?
Bloomberg and TechCrunch reported that existing investor Andreessen Horowitz, often called a16z, participated. The available reporting does not establish that a16z led the 2025 round or was its sole investor.
TechCrunch reported that a16z invested $350 million in Flow in 2022 at a $1 billion valuation. On those reported figures, the roughly $2.5 billion valuation in 2025 is 2.5 times the earlier valuation, or 150% higher. These are reported financing valuations, not a measure of Flow’s revenue, operating performance, or a current independently verified company value.

What does Flow do?
TechCrunch describes Flow as a residential real-estate company focused on rentals and co-living. That makes it different from a conventional software-only proptech startup: its business is tied to housing and residential projects, rather than software alone.
In a June 12, 2025 post, a16z co-founder and general partner Marc Andreessen said Flow and its partners had acquired South Florida projects totaling over 3,000 apartments, and described the company’s goal as flexible, connected living. That figure and framing come from an investor, not independent verification of occupancy, profitability, or market outperformance. Andreessen Horowitz

Has Flow announced an IPO?
No IPO timetable is established by the cited reporting. In an interview for Bloomberg Originals, Neumann said, “I’m sure this is a company that we could take public one day.” His remark expresses a possible future, not a commitment to list or an announced schedule. Bloomberg News
