The verified 25% Ray-Ban Meta glasses promotion is not confirmed as live on August 18, 2026. Ray-Ban’s official offer covered select Gen 1 glasses from April 10 through May 25, 2026, and ended on May 25. A Meta Store collection recently displayed “up to 25% off AI Glasses,” but its current eligibility, prices, and expiration date have not been established.
If you are shopping today, verify the discount in the cart rather than relying on an old deal article, search result, or coupon code.

Where to check for a current discount
Start with the official Ray-Ban U.S. Ray-Ban Meta page. It currently lists both Gen 1 and Gen 2 products and promotes lens-related offers, but the available evidence does not establish a universal 25% discount on the glasses themselves.
You can also check the Meta Store collection labelled “Get Up to 25% off AI Glasses”. That collection was crawled roughly four weeks before August 18, 2026. Treat it as a lead—not proof that the offer remains active—until an eligible product shows a discount at checkout.

What the verified 25% promotion covered
Ray-Ban’s official terms described a members-only promotion offering 25% off Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses Gen 1. It ran from April 10 through May 25, 2026, was automatically applied at checkout, was subject to stock and country restrictions, and did not apply retroactively to previous purchases.
The offer was not a blanket discount on every product called “Ray-Ban Meta glasses.” The official terms identified Gen 1, while a May sale report from MacRumors described 15% off selected Gen 2 models. That means “up to 25% off” could refer to different discounts across generations and configurations.

How to verify the price before paying
- Open the official Ray-Ban page and select the exact frame.
- Check whether it is labelled Gen 1 or Gen 2.
- Choose the frame color, size, lens type, and prescription status.
- Add the complete configuration to your cart.
- Look for a promotional line showing the original price, discount, and reduced price before payment.
- Confirm whether the discount applies to the frame only or also to prescription lenses and lens upgrades.
- Compare the final total with the equivalent Gen 2 model and with authorized optical retailers.
If no discount appears in the cart, do not assume that an old email, historical code, or third-party coupon remains valid. The former promotion was automatically applied and did not require a generally valid redemption code.

Historical price example
Android Authority reported a historical Gen 1 configuration at approximately $224, down from about $299. That is an example of the May promotion, not a confirmed August 18 price. The exact total depended on the frame and lens configuration.

Taxes, shipping, prescription fees, polarized or Transitions upgrades, and other lens costs can change the amount you pay. Do not treat $224—or any other headline price—as your expected total unless the same configuration shows that price in your cart.
Prescription buyers need to check separately
A frame discount does not necessarily discount prescription lenses. Ray-Ban’s current page has displayed different prescription promotions, including versions advertising 50% off prescription lenses and others showing 40% off plus an additional 10% with AI glasses. Because the promotional messaging is inconsistent, use the checkout total as the authoritative price.

Check Ray-Ban’s prescription data and power-limit document before ordering. Some prescriptions may require an authorized optical retailer or fall outside the supported range. An optical retailer may also be preferable if you need an in-person fitting, vision-benefit processing, or a clearer returns policy.

Gen 1 or Gen 2?
Gen 1 is the generation most directly associated with the verified 25% offer. It may be the better value if the discount is visible in your cart, the desired frame and lenses are in stock, and you do not need the newest generation.
Best Value
- Get the most out of the moment with iconic Ray-Ban style and technology by Meta. Now featuring frames for a broader range of face shapes.
- Never miss a beat—ask Meta AI to take photos or videos, unearth information, create clever image captions or check out FAQ’s.
- Video call hands-free and share your POV so others can feel like they’re right there with you whether you’re cooking, watching a game or sharing core memories.
- Capture your world with an updated camera and built-in edit features. Take high-quality photos and videos hands free or livestream your point of view.
- Discreet open-ear speakers let you enjoy rich audio quality, music and calls without losing the ambient sounds of your surroundings.
Gen 2 deserves a closer look when the price difference is small, when it has a better lens promotion, or when you prefer newer hardware and features. The largest percentage discount is not automatically the lowest-cost or best-value purchase after prescription upgrades.
Other places to shop
- Ray-Ban’s official store: Best for direct access to frame, lens, prescription, and promotion details.
- Meta’s official store: Worth checking only after confirming the current price, eligible generation, and expiration date in the cart.
- Best Buy: Its Meta Lab locations offer opportunities to try Meta AI glasses, but no August 18 25% discount was verified.
- Authorized optical retailers: Potentially better for prescription fitting, vision benefits, local returns, or in-person adjustments. Confirm that the seller is authorized and that the exact configuration is comparable.
Before you buy
- Confirm the generation; “Ray-Ban Meta” can refer to Gen 1 or Gen 2.
- Check whether the offer applies to your frame size, color, and lens type.
- Verify prescription eligibility and the cost of upgrades.
- Compare the final total—not just the percentage discount—with Gen 2.
- Check delivery, returns, warranty, stock, and geographic eligibility.
- Remember that setup requires a Meta account, the Meta companion app, a compatible Android or iOS phone, and internet access.
- Avoid marketplace listings that do not clearly identify an authorized seller.
Bottom line
The 25% Ray-Ban Meta deal was genuine, but the verified promotion ended May 25, 2026 and was primarily for Gen 1. On August 18, do not assume the discount is still available. Check the official Ray-Ban or Meta cart, confirm the exact generation and lens configuration, and buy only if the reduced price appears before payment.
