The company says it will use the funding to expand engineering, invest in AI for cybersecurity, and grow its go-to-market channels. Its pitch is a platform that combines compliance management with security services and monitoring—not a certification that a customer receives simply by signing up.
How much did Oneleet raise, and who led the round?
Oneleet announced a $33 million Series A led by Dawn Capital. The company announcement also names Frank Slootman, Arash Ferdowsi, Y Combinator, and other founders and CISOs as participants. Oneleet’s October 2, 2025 announcement confirms the announced round and lead investor.

SecurityWeek subsequently reported that the Series A brought Oneleet’s total funding to $35 million. That cumulative figure comes from SecurityWeek, not from the company announcement. SecurityWeek’s October 3, 2025 report gives the total.
What does Oneleet’s platform do?
Oneleet describes its product as a combined security and compliance platform for companies managing security programs and preparing for requirements such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS. Its stated capabilities span compliance program management and framework mapping, plus security work that can otherwise involve several tools or providers.
#1 Best Overall
- Security testing and monitoring: penetration testing, code scanning, cloud security posture management, and attack-surface monitoring.
- Company-wide controls: mobile device management (MDM), employee security training, access reviews, risk management, and vendor management.
- Compliance and customer assurance: framework-mapped controls, audit support, and trust-center features for sharing security information.
These are capabilities Oneleet describes on its product pages; the company says it builds its tools and combines automation with human review. Its Y Combinator company profile also describes automation, penetration testing, audit support, and continuous monitoring. Product descriptions can change, and these pages establish what the vendor says it offers—not an independent evaluation of effectiveness.
Does using Oneleet give a company a certification?
No. A platform can help organize controls, monitor activity, and prepare evidence, but it does not itself confer a SOC 2 report or an ISO certification. Those involve assessment by an independent auditor or certification body. Oneleet says it works with independent third-party auditors, but its platform should not be mistaken for the independent assessment itself. Oneleet’s compliance information describes its auditor involvement.

What will Oneleet use the funding for?
Oneleet says the financing will support three priorities:
- Expanding its engineering team.
- Investing further in AI across cybersecurity domains.
- Scaling go-to-market channels it describes as proven.
Those are plans stated by the company in its funding announcement, rather than independently verified outcomes of the round.

What does the funding news establish about Oneleet’s finances?
Oneleet said it had reached “8-figure revenue profitably” without using its seed funding. The statement is the company’s own description; the sources reporting the announcement do not provide audited accounts to verify revenue or profitability independently. It is therefore best understood as a company-reported business claim, not a disclosed, audited financial result.

Oneleet’s thesis is that compliance work is more useful when it follows ongoing security practices rather than ending at a checklist or audit milestone. CEO Bryan Onel wrote, “We’re building the comprehensive all-in-one platform that the market needs—because compliance alone won’t get us there.” That is the company’s positioning, not independent proof that its approach improves security outcomes across the market. The company also describes its mission as “Make effective cybersecurity painless.” Both statements appear in Oneleet’s announcement.
