OKX Money is a standalone app that brings together dollar-backed stablecoin balances, transfers, rewards on eligible USDG, and virtual or physical card payments. OKX advertises up to 10% APY on eligible USDG balances—but that is a maximum for qualifying users, not a guaranteed rate for everyone. The company has not named the launch countries or published a complete OKX Money rate schedule.
What OKX Money offers
OKX says customers can fund the account with more than 50 supported currencies, which are converted into dollar-backed stablecoins. The assets named in the launch announcement are USDG, USDC, and USDT. Customers can also transfer funds and convert between supported stablecoins without conversion fees, according to OKX’s October 6, 2026 announcement.
The app combines those balances with rewards and card payments. OKX says customers can use a virtual or physical card for spending, and that qualifying purchases may earn up to 10% cashback. The company describes the card as usable for global spending, but access still depends on whether OKX Money is available in the customer’s market.
What the advertised 10% APY means
The headline rate is “up to 10% APY” on eligible USDG balances. OKX says eligible customers can earn rewards without staking or locking up funds. The maximum is conditional: it does not establish that every customer or every USDG balance earns 10%.

CoinDesk reported on October 6, 2026, citing an OKX spokesperson, that higher reward tiers may depend on a 30-day average deposit threshold, a 30-day spending amount, or a higher Exchange VIP status. The spokesperson did not provide the thresholds or explain how the yield is funded. OKX’s launch announcement does not publish a full tier table or base rate, so customers should check the live terms in their market before relying on a particular return. CoinDesk’s report describes the rollout and the spokesperson’s comments.
OKX has a separate USDG rewards product in OKX Pay. Its March 12, 2026 notice says the rate on the first $10,000 depends on VIP tier and amounts above $10,000 receive 3.50% APY. Card fees and other costs
OKX says foreign-currency card purchases have zero foreign exchange fees and no conversion markup. That claim is specifically about card purchases. It does not establish that every way of funding an account, converting assets, or using the service is free. The launch materials do not detail every possible funding cost.
Where OKX Money is available
OKX says the service is beginning in participating markets and will expand as it determines where it can serve users. The October 6, 2026 announcement does not name launch countries. CoinDesk likewise reported that the initial markets were undisclosed and that rollout would take local requirements into account. Check availability and eligibility directly for your country rather than assuming the app or card can be used wherever OKX operates.

OKX framed the launch as an effort to widen access to dollar services, writing that “Hundreds of millions of people have been excluded from dollar-denominated savings and frictionless global spending because the infrastructure was never built for them.” That is the company’s stated rationale, not a guarantee about access or returns for a particular customer.
