MrBeast acknowledged that the experience fell short; separately, FOX5 Las Vegas reported that the resort offered affected guests a full refund of the package price, including taxes and fees.
What the MrBeast Experience package promised
Reports described a roughly $1,000 three-day package combining a hotel stay with fan games or activations, themed food and drinks, and a mystery bag. The original sales page was no longer available to the outlets reporting on the complaints, so the package details here reflect their accounts of what had been advertised. What guests said they received
Guests interviewed by KVVU said anticipated restaurant and pool activations were unavailable or unfamiliar to staff. Some also complained that mystery bags arrived late and contained ordinary merchandise or clothing in unsuitable sizes. These are attendee accounts reported by the outlet, not independent verification of every advertised activity or package delivery.
BBC News reported that guest Theresa Metta said she waited in her room for two days for a package that turned out to include a box of chocolates. Metta described the result this way: “Unfortunately, we didn’t get any of that.” KVVU quoted guest David Yacksyzn calling it “a terrible experience” as guests sought a full refund. What MrBeast and Resorts World did
MrBeast acknowledged the complaints
KVVU reported that MrBeast replied to a fan complaint, acknowledged that the experience had not met expectations, and said his team was addressing it. BBC News quoted him saying it “definitely isn’t the experience we hoped they’d deliver”. BBC also reported that he offered to make it up to affected guests by inviting them to his studio. These accounts do not establish that every guest received or accepted an invitation, or that every visit took place.
Resorts World reportedly offered full package refunds
In an April 16, 2025 report, FOX5 Las Vegas said Resorts World emailed affected guests offering a full refund of the package price, including nightly charges, taxes, and fees, to the card on file. That is a reported offer, not proof that every guest received a refund or that every payment was processed. FOX5 Las Vegas reported the offer. A separate first-person attendee account says its author received refund confirmation, but that account cannot establish outcomes for other guests: Random Recess.

What is—and is not—established
Contemporaneous reporting supports the event dates, the package’s reported inclusions, guest complaints, MrBeast’s response, and the resort’s reported refund offer. The reporting reviewed does not establish that a lawsuit was filed, that every guest received a refund, or that all promised studio visits occurred.
