Marble Law and the “No. 1 Family Law Firm” Claim: What the July 2025 Ranking Does and Doesn’t Show

A July 2025 promotional release says NewsBlaze ranked Marble Law the #1 family law firm in the U.S. It gives no methodology, so here is what the claim does and doesn't tell you.

A press release distributed through ACCESS Newswire on July 23, 2025 says NewsBlaze named Marble Law the #1 family law firm in the United States. That is a published claim attributed to NewsBlaze, not an independent verdict on Marble’s quality, and the release does not explain how the ranking was produced. It is also more than a year old as of October 2026, so any figures in it are dated.

What the announcement actually says

The ACCESS Newswire page is headlined “NewsBlaze Names Marble Law #1 in Family Law,” is dated July 23, 2025, and credits News Blaze as the source. The text is promotional. It states the #1 claim, lists Marble’s service features, and cites a few review and client figures. It does not name a judge, editor, or analyst who evaluated firms, and it contains no quotation from a named person explaining the result.

That matters for how much weight the headline can carry. A ranking is only as informative as its method, and this release gives readers no method to check.

What a “#1” ranking would need to show

Before a family law ranking can tell you anything about a specific firm, it has to answer a few questions. The July 2025 release answers none of them.

  • Comparison set: Were all family law firms in the country considered, or a shortlist, a single state, or firms that applied or paid to be included?
  • Criteria and weighting: Were outcomes, client reviews, fees, responsiveness, or something else measured, and how was each weighted?
  • Data period: Which years of data were used, and when was the ranking compiled?
  • Independence: Does NewsBlaze have any commercial relationship with the firms it ranks? The release does not say.

Without those answers, “#1” describes what was published in one promotional release. It does not establish that Marble is the strongest option for divorce, custody, support, or property division in any particular court.

Marble’s stated differentiators, and what to verify

The release describes several features as the reasons Marble stands out. Each one is a company or service claim. The table below separates what the release says from what a reader should confirm before relying on it.

Feature What the July 2025 release says What to confirm directly with the firm
Hybrid model Clients are paired with a local attorney and a broader co-counsel network. Who is the attorney of record, who does day-to-day work, and whether co-counsel is used in your case.
Pay-per-step pricing Discrete upfront fees for each stage, which the release says gives clients cost visibility. Which steps the fee covers, what is billed separately, and what happens if a case moves from agreement to litigation.
Family-law cost calculator An online tool for estimating fees. What inputs it uses and what it leaves out, such as court costs or expert fees.
Digital client dashboard Messages, document uploads, and case updates in one place. Whether the dashboard is available in your state and how quickly staff respond to messages.
Attorney consultation $49, stated as an offer in the July 2025 release. Whether the offer is still available and what it includes. Treat the figure as dated.

For current terms, Marble’s official pricing page and About Us page are the primary sources. Marble also published a firm-authored comparison, “Marble vs. Nova Legal Professionals: Compared,” on December 26, 2025. It describes pricing and delivery from Marble’s own perspective, so treat it as a statement of what the firm says rather than an independent evaluation.

The review and Trustpilot figures

The release also cites several numbers. Each was stated at publication and none is a current count.

Figure Where it appears Limits on how to read it
“60,000+ clients” NewsBlaze/ACCESS Newswire release, July 23, 2025 A company-related claim in a promotional release. The release does not show how it was counted or verified.
“over 4,400 five-star reviews” Same release, July 23, 2025 A figure from the time of publication. It is not a current total and does not state the review platform or time window.
Trustpilot “#1 in Divorce, #2 in Family Law” Same release, July 23, 2025 The release gives no measurement date, category definitions, or ranking method.

Review counts are useful as a signal that a firm has many clients, but they say little about how a particular case will go. A reader can see the same count on a current review page and compare it with the July 2025 number to judge whether the firm’s reputation is growing or stable.

Why a ranking can’t answer the real question

Family law is not one service. Divorce with a shared parenting plan, a contested custody dispute, a support modification, and a property division with business assets each call for different experience and different costs. A firm can rank well overall and still be a poor match for your county, your judge, or your issue.

The financial question is also more specific than the headline price. A step-based model can make early costs easier to see, but total cost depends on how many steps a case needs. An agreed divorce with one filing is a different budget from a contested case that goes through discovery, mediation, and trial. Ask for the cost of each path, not only the first step.

Questions to ask any family law firm, including Marble

Use these questions to compare firms on the criteria a ranking cannot measure:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Have you handled my type of case in my county and court, and how recently?
  2. Who will be the attorney of record, and who will do the daily work and respond to my messages?
  3. Which stages does the quoted fee cover, and what costs are billed separately, such as filing fees, mediation, or expert reports?
  4. Is billing hourly, fixed-fee, or step-by-step, and what are the payment terms if the case changes?
  5. How will I communicate with counsel, what response times should I expect, and how will I see case progress?
  6. What is your approach to settlement, mediation, and contested litigation, and when would you recommend each?

A firm that answers these questions in writing, with a cost estimate that names its assumptions, gives you more to compare than any ranking headline.

Marble’s own pricing and service pages can answer several of these questions, and the July 2025 release can be checked against them. The ranking itself should be treated as one dated promotional claim.
