What was the Laco 100-watch giveaway?
Laco marked its 100th anniversary in 2025 with a campaign it called “100 Years – 100 Days – 100 Watches.” According to the company’s official campaign page, the 100-day promotion ended October 26, 2025. Laco’s official campaign recap says 100 exclusive FRIEDA watches were given away.

The campaign used multiple channels over time, including Laco’s online shop and social accounts, its showroom, newsletters, watch media and creators, a postcard campaign, email, and the WatchTime Düsseldorf event. The available dates and entry methods varied by promotion. Those archived routes are not open entry opportunities now.
What were the WatchTime Düsseldorf entry rules?
One part of the campaign took place at WatchTime Düsseldorf from October 24–26, 2025. Under the event-specific terms, visitors entered at Laco’s booth by completing an entry card. Participants had to be at least 18, and nine FRIEDA watches were raffled—three each day. These rules applied to that event, not necessarily to the campaign’s other promotions.

What was the FRIEDA prize watch?
Laco described FRIEDA as a tribute to Frieda Lacher, whom the company identifies as a co-founder of its manufacture. The manufacturer’s descriptions are not independent test results. According to Laco’s watch information and product details, FRIEDA features:
- A textured red dial, luminous numerals and indices with Super-LumiNova C1, and black-framed luminous hands.
- A flat sapphire crystal and an automatic Laco 2S movement based on the Miyota 82S0, with stop-seconds functionality.
- A dark sandblasted stainless-steel case engraved “Laco 1925–2025.”
- A grey leather strap with red stitching.
Laco said FRIEDA was created for the centenary and could only be won through the giveaways, not purchased.

Can you still enter or buy FRIEDA?
No. The campaign ended October 26, 2025, and Laco described FRIEDA as a prize-only watch rather than a model offered for sale. Because each past promotion had its own dates and entry method, an old calendar listing or event instruction should not be treated as a current chance to enter.
