The “direct link to apply” in reports about that recruitment is not evidence that applications are open now. Scroll’s February 6, 2025 report listed 42 AO and 231 AAO vacancies in that cycle.
What the February 15 deadline applied to
The date belonged to the 2025 recruitment cycle for Karnataka Agriculture Officer and Assistant Agriculture Officer posts. Scroll reported that applications had been extended through February 15, 2025, and described 42 AO and 231 AAO vacancies. Scroll’s report is the source for those dates and role-specific vacancy figures.
That application window is closed. A historical application link should not be treated as a current invitation to apply, and this article does not establish that either post is accepting applications today.
How to check for a current recruitment notice
Before entering personal information or paying a fee, confirm any new opportunity through the recruiting authority’s official notice and application portal. Match the portal and application dates to the original notice rather than relying on a search result or an older article.

- Check the recruiting authority and notification or cycle number.
- Confirm the post and cadre, vacancy count, eligibility requirements, application dates and fee in the notice itself.
- Use only the application portal named in that official notice, and verify that its dates show an open window.
What is known about later reports
A Testbook recruitment page later reported that an earlier AAO recruitment was cancelled after the Agriculture Department withdrew its notification. That is a secondary-source claim; the official withdrawal order or commission notice was not established here, and it is unclear whether the claim applies in the same way to AO and AAO posts. Do not treat it as confirmed without checking the authority’s notice. Testbook’s recruitment page is the source of the reported cancellation.
A separate Careers360 report describes an AO/AAO cycle in 2026 and gives June 20, 2026, as its application deadline. This is a distinct later cycle, and that date has also passed. Its details have not been verified against an official KEA or KPSC notice, so it should not be used as confirmation of current vacancies or an open application. Careers360’s report is the source of that later-cycle information.

Why the old application instructions are not enough
Reports about the 2025 process described opening the online form, entering the required details, submitting it and downloading or printing a copy. Those steps do not establish that the form remains available. A separate February 2025 secondary report discussed qualifications, age limits, fees and selection stages, but these requirements should not be treated as authoritative without the original notification. KPSC Karnataka’s report provides that secondary summary.
