The JUUL consumer settlement is not accepting new claims, and its administrator does not report that people generally are receiving thousands of dollars. A limited group of people who had already received and deposited an initial award qualified for a supplemental payment that began in March 2026. The settlement’s more than $300 million total is a fund amount—not a promise of any particular individual payout.
Can you still file a claim?
No. The deadline to submit a claim was February 5, 2024. The administrator says it is no longer accepting late claims. The deadline to dispute an award or denial was December 23, 2024, and new disputes are not being accepted. See the administrator’s current FAQ and Payment Information FAQ for the status.
Who was covered by the consumer settlement?
The settlement class generally included individuals in the United States who bought JUUL-branded devices or pods from a physical or online retailer before December 7, 2022, subject to exclusions. The administrator’s FAQ lists exclusions, including people who bought only from another individual rather than a retailer and people who timely opted out.
This was a consumer-purchase settlement, not a personal-injury settlement. The administrator says the consumer class did not allege personal injury and notes that separate injury settlements may exist. Whether an individual injury claim is eligible or timely cannot be determined from the consumer settlement pages; consult a lawyer about that separate question.

Why the settlement total does not mean $300 million was paid to each person
The two consumer settlements total more than $300 million: $255 million from JUUL Labs and $45,531,250 from Altria, according to the administrator’s FAQ. That is the combined settlement amount, not an equal payment to every class member or an estimate of an individual award.
For valid, complete claims, the administrator assigned points based on eligible, documented average annual spending on JUUL products. It says payments were not dollar-for-dollar reimbursement. A claimant’s spending figure alone therefore cannot establish what that person was awarded; the administrator’s calculation for the claim controls.

Who qualified for the 2026 supplemental payment?
The administrator says supplemental redistribution payments began March 20, 2026. To qualify, a claimant had to have received and deposited an initial payment, and the claimant’s share of the redistribution had to be at least $15. The administrator also says an initial award below $183.27 did not qualify under the court-approved allocation plan. These details are in its FAQ.
The administrator describes award eligibility and calculations as final and says it is not accepting challenges to redistribution eligibility or calculations. The supplemental payment was conditional; it does not mean all claimants received a second payment or that a new claimant can join.

What to do if you already filed
Check the payment method and associated account
Look for the payment method selected on your claim and check the email address associated with it. The administrator’s Updates page lists notices associated with e-Mastercard or Amazon card payments from [email protected]; Venmo or PayPal confirmations from those vendors and potentially [email protected]; and ACH notices from [email protected]. A sender name alone does not prove a message is genuine. If you are unsure, use the administrator’s official contact details.
Ask the right contact about a missing payment
- Missing virtual Mastercard link: Contact Blackhawk Cardholder Services at 1-844-340-1929. The administrator’s Payment Information FAQ says the administrator cannot troubleshoot or resend that link.
- Other questions about an existing claim: Contact the settlement administrator at [email protected] or 1-855-604-1734. If updating contact details, have your Unique ID or confirmation code available.
These contacts can help with existing payment or claim questions, but they are not a way to reopen a claim or challenge a final award.
