Is IPPB recruitment underway for Scale III, V, VI and VII?
No matching Scale III, V, VI or VII recruitment appears on IPPB’s official Current Openings listing as checked on 8 October 2026. The page lists a Chief Operating Officer recruitment advertisement dated 30 April 2026 and other notices, but not the scale-specific recruitment described in the older notices. Because opening status can change, check the official Current Openings page before acting on any job listing.
The phrase “IPPB recruitment underway” does not describe the status of the Scale III, V, VI and VII notices discussed here. Their application windows have expired, so the old notices cannot be used to submit a current application.
What the January 2025 notice included
Advertisement IPPB/CO/HR/RECT./2024-25/05 accepted online applications from 10 January to 30 January 2025. It covered roles in Finance, Technology, Product and Internal Audit. The notice described vacancy numbers as tentative.

The five role rows add up to six regular posts. These are historical details from the 2025 notice, not current vacancies. See the IPPB Current Openings page for any later advertisement.
Historical age and experience criteria
The January 2025 notice set age and post-qualification experience with reference to 1 January 2025. Its general scale criteria were:

These are criteria from the expired January 2025 notice, not current eligibility advice. A future advertisement may set different age reference dates, experience requirements, qualifications, vacancy details or selection steps. Consult the specific new notice rather than relying on these figures.
A separate recruitment window closed in 2024
Advertisement IPPB/HR/CO/REC/2024-25/02 was a separate recruitment cycle, with applications open from 20 July to 9 August 2024. It included Scale III, V, VI and VII roles and used 1 July 2024 as its age reference date. It listed age bands of 26–35, 32–45, 35–55 and 38–55, and minimum officer-cadre experience of six, 12, 15 and 18 years, respectively. Do not combine those terms with the January 2025 notice: each advertisement had its own dates and requirements.
How to check for a new IPPB vacancy

Look for a new advertisement that explicitly names the relevant scale and role. Confirm its publication date and read any corrigendum or extension linked to it.

Use only the application link attached to that official listing, and follow the instructions in the applicable notice. The 2024 notice said, “No other mode of application will be accepted”; that statement applied to that notice’s online application process, not automatically to future recruitment.
