For the INI-CET July 2024 session, online registration for the application began on 5 April 2024 at 5:00 pm. That is different from basic candidate registration, which began on 18 March 2024. Both application dates and the exam date have passed; the official AIIMS PAAR registration and candidate information portal is provided as a reference, not as an indication that July 2024 applications remain open.

INI-CET July 2024 registration dates

AIIMS’s Admission Notice No. 25/2024, dated 19 February 2024, gives 5 April 2024 at 5:00 pm as the start of online registration for application. The July 2024 prospectus gives 18 March 2024 as the start of basic candidate registration. These are separate stages, which is why reports of a March start and an April start refer to different parts of the process.

Stage or event July 2024 date
Prospectus Part A, including eligibility criteria, scheduled for upload 18 March 2024 (AIIMS admission notice)
Basic candidate registration opened 18 March 2024 (AIIMS prospectus)
Basic candidate registration closed 12 April 2024 at 5:00 pm (AIIMS prospectus)
Online registration for application opened 5 April 2024 at 5:00 pm (AIIMS admission notice)
Status check 2 May 2024 (AIIMS prospectus)
Admit card availability 13 May 2024 (AIIMS prospectus)
Online registration for application closed 19 May 2024 at 5:00 pm (AIIMS admission notice)
INI-CET examination 19 May 2024 (AIIMS admission notice)

Every date in this schedule is historical. For a future session, use the notice and prospectus for that session rather than relying on the July 2024 calendar.

The official AIIMS PAAR Registration and Candidate Information Portal is the direct portal link. The July 2024 admission notice directs candidates to the AIIMS examination website for the prospectus and further information. Check the latest session-specific notice on the official portal for current dates, eligibility rules, and application instructions.

AIIMS’s Examination Section cautioned applicants in Admission Notice No. 25/2024 (19 February 2024): “All applicants are required to visit the website regularly since all subsequent Corrigendum/Addendum/Updates will only be uploaded on the website.”

How the July 2024 application process worked

The prospectus describes three sequential stages. Basic registration had to be accepted before a candidate could generate the Exam Unique Code (EUC) for the session.

  1. Registration and Basic Candidate Information: Submit the basic registration and candidate information. Only accepted basic registration could proceed to EUC generation.
  2. Generate the Exam Unique Code: Generate the EUC for the July 2024 session after basic registration was accepted. The EUC was session-specific; an EUC from an earlier session was not valid for July 2024.
  3. Complete the application: Use the session’s application process to complete the application after generating the EUC.

The prospectus says that, in the stated circumstances, applicants whose basic registration had already been accepted for an earlier AIIMS postgraduate examination did not need to register again. That did not make an earlier session’s EUC reusable for July 2024.
