The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) released the CGEPT 01/2025 exam city slip on November 12, 2024, for Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik applicants. It showed each candidate’s allocated exam city and exam date through the recruitment portal login. This is a historical notice, not a new 2026 release.
What the CGEPT 01/2025 city slip showed
The slip gave candidates their allocated exam city and exam date. The details were candidate-specific and available through the recruitment portal login; a general announcement could not provide an individual candidate’s city. The notice covered applicants for Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik. Scroll reported 320 vacancies for the batch: 260 Navik (GD) and 60 Yantrik. Scroll’s November 2024 report described the city-slip release.
How candidates were told to check the slip
The reported portal address was joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/cgept. The reproduced batch announcement said city and exam-date details would appear in candidate logins from November 12, 2024, at 11:00. Its instructions were:
- Open the CGEPT enrolled-personnel section on the recruitment portal.
- Select the link for the CGEPT 01/2025 city slip.
- Sign in to the candidate account and download the slip.
The batch announcement’s reproduced wording said: “The Exam Date and the name of the allocated Exam City’ will be made available at Indian Coast Guard web portal: https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/cgept in your login ID w.e.f. 12 Nov 24 (1100 hrs),” Scroll reproduced the notice; the notice text is also hosted in a CGEPT announcement copy. The reproduced notice is not evidence that the portal or old link remains available now.

City slip versus e-admit card
The city slip was not the e-admit card. For this batch, the notice said the e-admit card would be available through candidate login 72 to 48 hours before the examination and would also be sent to the registered email address. That timing applies to the 01/2025 batch notice; candidates in any current recruitment should follow the instructions shown in their own official account and admit-card notice.

The 01/2025 city-slip release should not be treated as current. Scroll later reported that the Stage I result was released on December 19, 2024. Candidates looking for a current exam city or admit card should check the official recruitment portal for the relevant batch rather than rely on the old city-slip link or a third-party copy.
