April 2, 2024 was the original application deadline, but the official TGDSC portal later recorded June 20, 2024 as the final submission date. The computer-based exam and result release have also taken place; this is a historical notice, not an active application opportunity.
What the 11,062 vacancies covered
Notification No. 24/RC-1/TRT/DSC/2024, dated February 29, 2024, invited applications for direct recruitment to government and local-body schools in Telangana through the District Selection Committee. The recruiting authority was the Commissioner, School Education, Telangana. The 11,062 figure covered several teacher categories; it did not mean 11,062 School Assistant vacancies.

Application dates: April 2 was superseded
The notification was issued on February 29, 2024, and online applications opened March 4. The bulletin gave April 2, 2024 as the original deadline. The official TGDSC portal subsequently recorded June 20, 2024 as the last date for submission, so April 2 was not the final deadline. Both dates are past. The TGDSC portal is the official place to check recruitment records.

Exam, keys and results
The online computer-based test ran from July 18 to August 5, 2024, across 26 sessions. The preliminary key was issued August 13 and the final key September 6. The state released results on September 30, 2024. The release reported 2,79,838 applications and 2,46,584 candidates who appeared, or 88.11% of applicants. It also said certificate verification would be conducted at a 1:3 ratio and announced appointment orders for October 9, 2024. Read the results announcement.

Because this recruitment cycle has concluded, the portal’s links are for records and result-related documents, not a way to submit a new application. The TGDSC portal provides links to hall tickets, response sheets, the final key, general ranking lists and the certificate-verification proforma. Consult the TGDSC portal for those materials and the Telangana School Education portal for department information.
