The portal closed at 5:00 PM on 12 September, so this is not an open registration opportunity. A later Haryana Treasuries and Accounts Department document dated 17 April 2026 records HPSC recommendations of selected candidates.
What the September 2025 reopening covered
The HPSC notice applied to recruitment under Advertisement 23/2023 for Haryana TO and ATO posts. It allowed candidates who had already applied to update or amend their applications, and also allowed fresh applicants to submit forms. The application period ran from 8 September through 12 September 2025, with the portal closing at 5:00 PM on the final day. The registration link mentioned in contemporaneous coverage led candidates to HPSC’s online application site. Because the window is closed, an old link should not be treated as a way to apply now. For any current recruitment, check the official HPSC website for an active notice and application link.
Vacancies: five TO posts and 54 ATO posts
The revised notice increased the ATO vacancy count from 30 to 54. The TO count remained five. These are the recruitment totals in the HPSC notice; they do not by themselves establish selection odds or comparative desirability.

The HPSC notice provides revised category allocations for ATO. Candidates who need category-wise totals should consult that notice rather than rely on an overall count alone.

If you had applied in 2023
The reopening instructions required earlier applicants to register or log in to retrieve their application details and update or amend required information and documents. They were also instructed to print the submitted details and upload a self-signed copy. Specific certificate requirements and cut-off dates vary by category, so use the full notice for the documents that applied to your case.
If you were applying for the first time
Fresh candidates could use the separate online application process during the reopening period. The notice set out qualifications, category-specific requirements, certificates, and applicable dates. It lists a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university and Hindi or Sanskrit knowledge up to matriculation or higher education as baseline qualifications; this summary is not a substitute for checking the full eligibility provisions and category rules in the notice.
Exam subjects and the Government Accounts reference
The revised exam plan covers General Knowledge and everyday science, precise writing, noting and drafting in Hindi and English, and Government Accounts. For Government Accounts, the notice names Chapters 1–8 of the Comptroller and Auditor General-issued An Introduction to Indian Government Accounts and Audit. The notice identifies the reference; it does not establish a particular edition or current retail availability.

The Haryana Treasuries and Accounts Department’s General Orders index lists a document dated 17 April 2026 titled “Recruitment to the 5 Posts of TO and 54 Posts of ATO under Finance Department.” The document says HPSC recommended selected candidates and called for original degrees and certificates for a scheduled process. That later recruitment step confirms the September 2025 reopening is historical, but does not establish that every appointment step has been completed.
