Product availability, serviceability, checkout options and delivery timing depend on your address and current conditions.
How to place an Instamart order

Set your delivery location
Open Swiggy Instamart and enter or confirm the address where you want the groceries delivered. The location determines whether Instamart serves the address and which products appear in the catalog. Swiggy’s Instamart storefront displays location-dependent categories and products.

Find the groceries you need
Browse categories or search for products. For a repeat shop, the ordering workflow also supports a frequently ordered items path. Availability can vary by address, and a product may be out of stock; if that happens, choose an available alternative shown in the catalog. Swiggy’s ordering workflow documentation describes the search, browsing and reorder paths.

Choose the right size or variant and quantity
Check the product option before adding it: the same item may be listed in different sizes or variants. Set the quantity you want and make sure the cart reflects both accurately.

Review the cart and address
Before checkout, confirm the item names, variants, quantities, delivery address and total. Swiggy’s current documented ordering workflow specifies a ₹99 minimum order, but thresholds and service rules can change. Follow the requirement displayed in your live cart; an address may also be outside the service area.

Select a payment method and place the order
Choose from the payment options actually offered in checkout for your cart and account, then confirm the order. Swiggy’s checkout reference groups methods such as UPI, cash on delivery (COD) and SwiggyPay, but availability is determined at checkout; do not assume every method will appear for every order. Open the placed order’s tracking view
After checkout, go to the order and open its tracking page or view in the Swiggy app. Check the status and the ETA shown for that specific order. The ETA is an estimate for the order, not a universal delivery-time guarantee.

Use the information shown for that order
Swiggy’s tracking reference lists order status and ETA among the possible details, and may include address, item details or map locations such as the delivery partner’s location. Some tracking fields are optional, so a map or ETA may not appear in every case. See Swiggy’s tracking reference.

What to do if ordering or tracking does not work
- A product is unavailable: Check the selected address and pick an in-stock alternative displayed in the catalog.
- Your address is not serviceable: Confirm that the delivery address is correct. A different nearby address may be worth checking if it is a valid delivery location, but changing it does not guarantee coverage.
- The cart does not meet the minimum: Follow the live cart message; the current ordering workflow documentation names ₹99 as its minimum, which may change.
- Your preferred payment method is missing: Use one of the methods available in checkout for that order and account.
- The tracking page has no ETA or map: Tracking details can vary, and map information is not guaranteed to be shown. Use the status and ETA that are available in the order view.
For a missing order, cancellation or refund, use the current consumer-facing help options in Swiggy rather than relying on technical integration instructions: the workflow references cited here do not establish a universal app procedure for those issues.
