Supercell has said Brawl Stars has generated more than $1 billion in lifetime gross revenue. That figure is a lower bound on money the game has brought in over time—not an exact current total, and not the price the game would fetch if sold. Supercell has not disclosed a standalone valuation for Brawl Stars.
What does “worth” mean for Brawl Stars?
The question can refer to different financial measures. The public figures answer how much revenue the game has generated, but they do not establish its sale price or market value as a separate asset.
- Lifetime gross revenue: Supercell CEO Ilkka Paananen said in 2022 that each of five hit games, including Brawl Stars, had grossed more than $1 billion over its lifetime. “More than” is a threshold, not an exact total.
- Recent yearly performance: The game’s general manager said 2025 was its second-best year ever for revenue and monthly active users. That ranking provides no dollar amount.
- Standalone sale or market value: Supercell has not published an individual valuation or sale price for Brawl Stars in the official sources cited here.
Supercell’s CEO says the game launched globally in December 2018. The lifetime-revenue statement dates to 2022, so it should be read as a published lower bound from that statement—not as a precise, updated lifetime tally. Supercell’s account of its hit games and their lifetime revenue includes Brawl Stars among the five.
What has Supercell said about Brawl Stars’ recent revenue?
In a March 2026 retrospective, Brawl Stars General Manager Frank ranked 2025 as the game’s second-best year ever for both revenue and monthly active users. He said 2024 ranked first and 2020 third. Supercell CEO Ilkka Paananen also described Brawl Stars’ 2024 performance as exceptional, saying the game “doubled, tripled, quadrupled (and more) its metrics, especially players, engagement, and revenue.” This is a qualitative description of growth, not a disclosed revenue multiple or dollar figure. Paananen’s statement on Brawl Stars’ 2024 performance does not provide an annual revenue total.
Why Supercell’s company finances do not reveal the game’s value
Supercell reported $3.01 billion (€2.65 billion) in company-wide revenue and $1.06 billion (€0.93 billion) in EBITDA for fiscal 2025. Those figures cover the company, not Brawl Stars alone. Supercell’s CEO identified Clash Royale as the biggest contributor to the results, so the company totals cannot be attributed to Brawl Stars or used to calculate its standalone value. Supercell’s FY2025 company results provide the portfolio-level figures.

Older figures are no substitute for game-level accounts. In FY2023 commentary, Supercell reported €1.7 billion in company revenue and €580 million in EBITDA, and said Brawl Stars’ player base had more than tripled since the previous summer. It did not separate the game’s revenue. These historical, company-wide numbers do not establish what Brawl Stars earns now or what it would sell for. Supercell’s FY2023 commentary gives that earlier context.

Supercell identifies Brawl Stars as one of its global games on its company overview, but its public statements cited here stop short of giving an exact current lifetime revenue total, a game-specific annual dollar figure, or a standalone market valuation.
