Published estimates show that top models can earn millions in a year, but the available figures do not establish a definitive list of ten young supermodels or what any of them are worth today. Forbes estimated Gigi Hadid’s 2017 earnings at $9.5 million and Bella Hadid’s at $6 million; its 2018 estimate put Bella’s earnings at $8.5 million. Those are historical annual-earnings estimates—not audited disclosures or current net-worth figures.
What the available figures actually measure
“Making millions” can refer to income earned during a particular period or to a net-worth estimate accumulated over time. These are different measures. Annual earnings describe estimated income over a year; net worth is an estimate of assets minus liabilities. Neither should be substituted for the other, and an old earnings estimate does not establish present wealth.

The earnings estimates are tied to particular years. The net-worth figures are secondary estimates, and the same publisher gives Gigi Hadid different amounts on its ranking and profile pages. They are not audited financial disclosures, so the discrepancy is a reason to attribute them rather than treat either as settled fact.
Why the earnings estimates differ by year
Forbes’ 2017 entries connect the Hadids’ earnings context to commercial work. It said Gigi Hadid’s social following helped her command brand dollars and cited Maybelline and Tommy Hilfiger. At the time, Forbes described her Instagram following as 37 million; that is a historical platform figure, not a current count. The Bella Hadid entry cited work including Dior makeup, Nike and Nars.

Forbes’ 2018 entry called Bella Hadid the youngest member of that year’s list and named Dior Beauty, Bulgari and Tag Heuer among the brands for which she was the face.
