Swansea City did not disclose Adam Idah’s transfer fee. BBC Sport reported that the deal involved an initial £6 million, potentially rising to £7 million; those are reported estimates, not a confirmed final payment.
What fee did Swansea City pay for Adam Idah?
Swansea announced Idah’s signing on 1 September 2025, describing him as joining for a “significant undisclosed fee” and confirming a five-year contract. The club did not publish a price. Swansea City’s announcement
BBC Sport reported on the same day that the fee was believed to be an initial £6 million, with the possibility of rising to £7 million. That is the clearest reported breakdown, but it remains media reporting rather than a figure confirmed by either club.
Why are both £6m and £7m being reported?
The amounts describe different parts of the reported deal: £6 million is the reported initial fee, while £7 million is a possible total if additional payments apply. RTÉ Sport, in a report updated on 2 September 2025, also described the transfer fee as undisclosed and put it at around £6 million (€6.9 million).
