Capology estimates Finn Azaz’s gross fixed salary at Southampton at £50,000 a week for the 2026–27 season, before bonuses. That is a third-party estimate, not a wage figure confirmed by Southampton. A separate tracker put his 2025–26 salary at £30,000 a week, underlining that his exact contract terms are not publicly established by the sources reviewed.
Finn Azaz’s reported Southampton wages
Capology’s current profile lists Azaz at an estimated £50,000 per week in gross fixed salary for 2026–27, excluding bonuses. Capology says its salary figures are estimates, not official disclosures, so this should not be treated as a verified contract figure. Capology’s Finn Azaz profile

SalaryLeaks estimated £30,000 per week for Azaz during Southampton’s 2025–26 season. Its site notes that EFL salary information is rarely published and that many figures are informed estimates. The two figures refer to different seasons and sources, and neither establishes the actual wage Southampton agreed to pay. SalaryLeaks’ Southampton salary estimates
Why the figures are not a confirmed salary
Southampton’s announcement confirmed Azaz’s signing and a four-year deal, but did not publish his wages or bonus terms. The Football Association’s 2025–26 agent transactions register records him as a permanent transfer into Southampton; it does not provide a salary. Accordingly, £50,000 a week is best described as a current third-party estimate for gross fixed pay in 2026–27, not an official wage disclosure. The available figures also do not support calculating Azaz’s take-home pay: they do not establish tax circumstances, deductions, or bonus payments.
The £12m figure is a transfer fee, not wages
Southampton signed Azaz from Middlesbrough on 29 August 2025. BBC Sport reported an initial transfer fee of £12 million, potentially rising to £14 million with add-ons. That is a reported fee paid in connection with the transfer, not the amount Azaz earns or a measure of his weekly salary. BBC Sport’s report on the transfer

The “bid tabled” framing is now historical: BBC Sport reported on 21 August 2025 that Middlesbrough had rejected a bid, with Southampton understood to have made an offer. Eight days later, Southampton announced the completed signing. BBC Sport’s report on the rejected bid

Southampton’s announcement said Azaz had 46 goal contributions in 93 second-tier appearances for Middlesbrough and Plymouth combined. BBC Sport separately reported that he had recorded 12 goals and 11 assists in the Championship in the season before his transfer. These are differently scoped statistics: the first covers appearances for two clubs, while the second describes one season. Southampton’s signing announcement · BBC Sport’s transfer report
