These are historical market reference rates, not live prices or guaranteed shop quotes.
Pakistan gold and silver rates on 22 December 2025
Mettis Global and the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), carried by UrduPoint, reported these rates as figures from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). Business Recorder independently confirmed the principal per-tola rates and the 24-karat gold rate per 10 grams.

The rates were reported at record levels for the local market. Mettis Global and APP reported the daily changes shown above; the main gold and silver per-tola figures were also reported by Business Recorder. Mettis Global, APP via UrduPoint, and Business Recorder covered the rates on 22 December.
Why the purity and unit matter
Check both the purity and weight unit before comparing a rate with a quote. The listed 22K gold figure is for 10 grams; it is not interchangeable with the 24K rate for 10 grams or the 24K per-tola rate. Likewise, a per-tola figure should not be described as a 10-gram price.

Why published rates for the same date differ
Not every page listing 22 December rates gives the same figures. TechJuice listed 24K gold at Rs461,799 per tola and silver at Rs7,286.49 per tola, while PakBiz listed gold at Rs465,000 and silver at Rs8,377 per tola. Those values differ from the figures reported by Mettis Global, APP, and Business Recorder. Daily Pakistan later included Rs462,362 as the gold per-tola rate for 22 December in a weekly table.
TechJuice says its rates come from local gold markets and Sarafa markets in various cities, but its page does not explain the numerical difference. The figures in the table above are the best-corroborated reported rates among these accounts; they should not be presented as an independently verified APGJSA bulletin. International market context reported that day
The international figures were not identical across reports and represent separate market snapshots. Mettis Global put spot gold near $4,410 an ounce, up $55.20 or 1.27% from the preceding session. APP reported gold at $4,400 an ounce, up $62, and silver at $69.30 an ounce, up $2.18. Contemporaneous coverage linked bullion’s rise to global market movement, safe-haven demand, and expectations of US rate cuts; those were reported explanations, not proof of a single cause.
